See-BS, what a great name for a network in decline!

You know, the demographic of hard-core Republican-haters is low-to-moderate income, middle aged and older. Perhaps. Yes, I'll agree that there is a lot of evidence that people who vote Democrat are for the most part either senile or completely uneducated. But there is another large Democrat constituency who are at the top of the income pyramid.
I read an interesting little stat in World Magazine 2 months ago ---
Ninety two percent (92%) of all donations of $1 million or more in the 2002 election cycle went to the Democratic Party!
So it seems the Rats have the fatcat constituncy pretty much locked up.

I was shocked when they showed 'DC 9-11', which was a favorable view of the President on 9-11. The actors sucked, but the movie was pretty straight on in facts.
I'm just starting to read the thread, so this may be old news, but that movie was done by a Hollywood conservative named Lionel Chetwynd, who is probably best know for Hanoi Hilton. I don't know if it'll be on Showtime, but he has a new movie in the works about Eisenhower during D-Day. I read a blurb about it, but I don't remember where or the details. Probably yesterday's Dallas Morning News.

Hmmmm? I wonder if Blockbuster would like to have a visit from FReepers - parading back and forth in front of their stores ..??
Public shame .. it's a powerful thing!!
To: Gunder
What the idiot doesn't understand is that the network is calling it an accurate "documentary" - which requires accuracy. This is a hit piece - if they wanted to make a movie which is a fantasy, then say it's a fantasy.

Did you hear those two idiots on O'Reily say tonight that there would be no "impact" on CBS over this type of boycott??? They are dreaming... since last week, CBS has been trying to dump this movie on Showtime to save themselves. Oh well, see what a little "togetherness" accomplishes??? Just flamed Showtime and will cancel them tomorrow.
You would think they would make a real life and ongoing scandal movie on the "clintoon legacy." Now THAT would make a fortune.

O'Reily Factor showed her web page of anger at the "right" for crashing her husbands flop of lies.... so sad.

Cancel them out... see what a little "stick together" can do??? We all need to ban them until they knock this off or end in ruin. They are boring anyway, why pay for it? I snapped out of it tonight.

My 2 cents to some of the advertising supporters;
email to Hallmark;
I have always loved Hallmark products. I spend approximately 400 to 500$ yearly on many holiday articles and presents. I saddens me so much to see that I must now stop all such spending habits. Hallmark has always seemed to me to stand for family values and traditions. In light of the support Hallmark is giving to the horrible CBS movie about dying President Reagan, I am reconsidering all purchases--forever. My image of Hallmark is irreparably damaged. What a waste. My Christmas will have new traditions that do not include Hallmark products or purchases. You betrayed your customers. Watch your holiday earnings plummet. You will know why.
In deep sadness,
RBurke
Email to CBS-Survivor
I have watched all episodes of Survivor and loved it. I was addicted to it to the point of taking every Thursday night off of work to make it my weekly fun night. After CBS's promotion and creation of the Reagan Lies movie, that all changed. As much as I love Survivor, I cant stand lies and such insults to a dying man. Today I canceled those days off so I wont be tempted to watch again--CBS deserves the ratings plummet they so richly earned. I will catch Mark Burnetts others shows on cable channels on direct TV. It saddens me to end my survivor addiction, but some things in life are just too important to ignore.
Best wishes,
R Burke

I already got this letter from Hallmark--You think they arent concerned about Holiday sales? They should be!
"Thank you for contacting us with your concern. This gives us the opportunity to provide you with correct information.
Hallmark was not involved in the production of "The Reagans" miniseries airing on CBS and is not a sponsor of the program. By virtue of its international distribution network, Hallmark Entertainment, Inc., distributes many films produced by other companies to international
audiences, and this movie will be one of those. We suggest you relate your concerns about the program's content to CBS at 212-975-3247.
We want to emphasize that Hallmark is not producing or sponsoring "The Reagans" movie. We appreciate the time you took to share your views, and will pass them along for consideration."

VIACOM, aka akin to the Gore Network is going to broadcast this film. Al Gore wanted a DNC information network - this is the first installment. It is still the Left at work. CBS made $9M for this hit piece and it still gets aired:) No victory, but a heads up on the French-Gore Network Information Connection.

Will anybody notice who began this tidal wave of backlash against CBS?
It wasn't Nancy Reagan.
It wasn't Merv Griffin.
It wasn't Matt Drudge.
It wasn't Fox News.
It wasn't Free Republic.
It was the New York Times!
If it was so bad a hatchet job that NYT would rat out CBS, the screenplay must have been horrific. Thank you, First Amendment! Thank you, Old Senile Grey Lady!

The victory was short-lived. CBS sold it to Showtime who will film it in it's entirety!

I'm new to this forum, I thought this a good time to jump in and get my feet wet by saying, Good for the Reagans I hate to think they would dirty his name or make fun of him in any way. 'I sure do miss Rush, I can't cook breakfast without him in my kitchen.

Thanks, but with the right software even a knucklehead like me can create a "photo montage" like dat dere. You're too humble. You may have had the "right" software, but that picture was inspired. I would gladly buy a large print, if you ever sell them :o)
