A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.
So, do you think it is fair to say that Debka critics are harsher on Debka than on al Qaeda?
Or seal the stupid borders until this is over- at least! Sheesh.
Since 9/11, like everyone else, I've been vigilant here in NYC. There's this arab guy who operates a fruit concession right outside of Penn Station (looks like he stepped out of another century). He is there religiously every day. One of my commuting buddies and I have sort of a running joke going that if he's not there that means he got out of dodge. It's funny, because we noted that he wasn't there Friday and he wasn't there this morning.
Somebody check U-Haul, Ryder van rental requests for this week.
Here's an American (plus a muslum copy) of the notice to evacuate.......
A Warning to Muslims in America (From that Northeast Intelligence Network site)
And another thing. The liberals are blaming it on Bush policies, so why are all the major targets liberal strongholds?
Uh, dude, I was getting after his comparison. It is asinine and highly insulting to say that Debka critics are harsher on Debka than al Qaeda. And you friggin' know it, but you sidestepped around it to make your Debka defense.
Just because one cannot validate a story does not make it false by proxy. In this story, Debka is simply spelling out the chatter heard in AQ Blogs. I am glad that there is a media like Debka doing so. I think it is time to break this silly tradition of bashing posters who reference a Debka articles....I know it is fun and all for you guys, but it is time to grow up. Debka is an alternative source of information, treat it as so, and make up your own mind.
We've caught Debka lying too many times to accept them as anything less than a joke. A criticial function of FR is to debunk media lies, whether they come from CNN, the NY Times, or Debka. If that happens to gore one of your sacred cows, tough noogies.
We were debunking Debka's bogus stories long before you started posting here, so don't lecture me about what is out of line on FR.
There was also the high school kid that made the comment about the towers not being around in a weeks time, or something similar.
There may be nothing to this warning, but dismissing it out of hand is foolhardy. We've probably stopped more attacks than we'll ever know. Remember, few took Bin Laden seriously when he called for Jihad against America. He was, after all, just another crazy muslim spouting nonsense.
Some crazy he turned out to be. Best advice is just to be aware, I suppose.
