Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Could HFAB be a typo? Maybe it is supposed to be HAFB, which could be Homestead Air Force Base, which is near Miami?

If this is so, then "Biblis" would be the odd man out here. Maybe there is more to "Biblis"? I'll keep searching.

Could they be area codes? I did a google for "area code 383 biblis" without the quotes and got this http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=area+code+383+biblis . Area code 383 is Maine, 420 is Wisconsin, 118 is not in the U.S., 602 is Arizona (Phoenix area?) and 847 is Illinois (Chicago area?)

Homestead AFB was virtually destroyed by Hurricane Andrew and consequently was closed by the feds. There is a small reserve unit operating there but nothing else.

Hello,

There is a nuclear plant north of Phoenix, about half way from Wickenberg. I am not sure of the highway, it has been years since I was in the area.

Highway 93 from Kingman to Wickenberg and the plant is south or southwest.

I too thought of area codes for the phone when I read the numbers.

602 is the Phoenix area, wickenberg should be 623 and Kingman is 928.

That really depends upon which way the wind is blowing. Approximately 17 million people live within a 60 mile radius of NYC. If the wind blows from the W, then the 2.5 million people who live on Long Island are directly in the path; winds from the SW, then watch out in western Long Island, the Bronx, Eastern Westchester County, and the entire I-95 corridor up to Boston; winds from the NE or East, then the fallout heads to New Jersey -- the most densily populated state in the Country, and Pennsylvania; NW winds and the plume covers Brooklyn and western Long Island; S winds take the plume right up the Hudson River Valley where 1.3 million people live; and SE winds drive the plum over northern New Jersey, NE Pennsylvania, and SW New York. Only winds directly from the N would take the plume out to sea and that doesn't happen very often.

Under normal circumstances, I despise New York as a noisy dirty socialist armpit, but as someone else pointed out, it's our filthy socialist armpit and its the best one in the world.

I would lose my wife's favorite nephew and my favorite brother-in-law. Neither will move out of the city, which is something that I just can't comprehend.
