Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Gunfire hit cars traveling on I-71 and I-270 yesterday. No one was injured.

A task force investigating the serial sniper is analyzing two shell casings found on an I-71 overpass after a motorist was fired on about 1 a.m.

If the incident is linked to the shooter, it will be the 20th and the most recent since a car was hit Jan. 11.

The bullet that hit Michael Thomas’ car appears to have ricocheted off the hood and cracked the windshield.

Last night, the task force was called to a shooting on the Far West Side, though authorities were trying to determine whether it might be an unrelated case of road rage.

Four bullet holes could clearly be seen on the passenger side of the white Chevy Suburban.

The Suburban’s driver, who asked that his name not be used, told police that the incident happened as he was getting off I-270 at the Georgesville Road exit about 9:45 p.m. to go to work at The Dispatch printing plant.

The man said the shots were fired from a late 1980s white Bonneville that he had passed on the Outerbelt at I-71. The driver of the Bonneville began tailgating him, at one point clipping his Suburban. The Bonneville followed him off the Georgesville ramp and pulled alongside, and shots were fired from it. The driver of the Suburban was uninjured."

< rant > There is a lot of speculation here. I, for one, am still having a tough time believing that these twerps are gonna give us any kind of warning - Must be wishful thinking on my part that the lower-level Jihadists like to brag. Take what you want from it (not so much that you become paranoid) and be careful not to spin fiction into fact, then just sit back and enjoy the show. If some events have and will be pre-empted we may never know, we'll just go on discussing the next topic du jour. If this is somebody's idea of a sick joke (shame on them, it is not funny) then I guess some of us are just willing suckers and we've decided to keep on playing the game. Who knows! We're not bothering anyone (except for a few Freepers annoyed at seeing this thread in the latest posts) and nobody is getting hurt so let the games continue. < /rant >

we always try to answer peoples questions so ask us when ever but
give us some time to answer,
regarding the rumors this is nothing new the US goverment always
trys to spread these rumors out to have a responce from Shaikh Bin
Laden him self so that they have a go in trying to pin point him
through these comunications.
but i can tell you that we are 100% sure he is safe and leading the
fight but dont expect that every time there is a rumor to find him
coming out and saying hes well coz thats why these rumors are spread
in the first place.

shaikh Bin laden will come out when there is a reason for coming out
and comunicating ut he will never come out to show that hes still
alright.

again you can be 100% sure he is ok and safe may god protect all the

Osama has not been Captured, says self- professed al Qaida Operative

Also admits Communication through Images

    Although rumors are flying all over the Internet that 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden has been captured, self-professed al Qaida operative Daleel Almojahid says that is not the truth.

    In a Yahoo Groups posting, Almojahid writes, "We would like to inform the mojahideen that Shaikh Osama Bin Laden is well and fine and leading the fight. These rumors will keep coming up in the coming few weeks so watch out and be informed. This is just another dirty game from the American administration."

    Another post on the same bulletin board (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Daleel_Almojahid_1/message/4) titled "Final Urgent Letter to the American Administration" is similar to one that Almojahid posted some weeks ago.

    In the post Almojahid (or whoever authored the document) writes that it is "insane" to read the letter without coming to a "clear, wise and fast decision."

    Almojahid appears to say that plans for the attack are in their final stages and that nothing will stop the preparations except God, and what he and his colleagues deem an appropriate response from the Bush Administration. When (if) the attack occurs, Almojahid writes, its outcome will be "unbelievable and unexpected."

    Almojahid says that the name of the coming attack is the cave of darkness. While "apologizing" to the American people and to the European community for what he says will befall them, Almojahid says "You have stood hand in hand with your governments and left the Jews take control of the rest of the world."

    Almojahid says that this document represents the last opportunity to head off the upcoming disaster, and as such the American administration needs to take fast action. Once that occurs, he says, "We will be all open ears to you and we will be up to date with your answer once you have decided to take the right decision from your side."

    Almojahid presents a comprehensive list of demands. They include a demand that there will be no more "invasion" anywhere in the world of any Islamic lands and the return in gold of all "stolen" Muslim money. In addition, he wants all (presumably Islamic) prisoners released and the dismantling of the "so-called" United Nations.

    He adds, "We share with you the importance of water and oil and we share the idea of it staying as it is but the pricing of oil is left to us and we promise you to make it available at a reasonable price for poor and for rich nations."

    Almojahid warns the Administration to make a quick decision as that is the only way an impending attack will be averted. He writes, "We have given you the solution, so either you are with us or against us, that's your way of thinking isn't it! But we know that you are not with us but you will be forced to be (and we have warned)."

    There will be a terrible punishment, Almojahid writes, if the Bush Administration fails to respond to his (organization's) demands. "You will then cry like women in your underground caves. And it will be fair enough for you to see that for us knowing that you will run away hiding in your underground caves, we will give you a prior few minutes notice before our blessed attack so that you will be able to watch your destruction with your own satellite as we would be by then have passed the sky's of the seventh sky to heaven and your nation to the fires of hell, and what and end for letting you govern them and move them to the direction of hell and what a direction!"

    The document is signed by the Islamic Jihad Brigade, the 8th Squad of the Black Death Squad.

     In another matter concerning Almojahid, a writer on an e- mail group that discusses Almojahid (who in some circles is practically becoming an internet legend) commented that a check of the images on Almojahid's group seems to indicate that they "could contain either non-visible steganographic information, or some other significant code variance. This variance could be used for communications or other purpose (including, but not limited to, the possibility of embedded malicious code.)

    Responding to a request for information as to whether that was in fact true, Almojahid said "Yes ... and it has been already figured out by the home land security team two years ago. But the codes in the images can't be broken. They are useless if you don't have the other breaker code."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BEIRUT (AFP) - A television station caused panic in official circles by reporting the arrest in Lebanon of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) ... before admitting the announcement was a "joke" in a comedy show.

"A wide security operation is taking place for the arrest of an important wanted Arab personality," journalist Bassam Abu Zeid announced late Thursday on an urgent broadcast on the private Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI).

In a second "flash" interrupting the weekly political satire show "Bass Mat Watan," the journalist reported that "bin Laden has been arrested in the attic" of former prime minister Omar Karame in the northern city of Tripoli.

Abu Zeid finally explained that the announcement was a joke and part of the comedy show whose name in Arabic can mean either "the nation is dead" or "the smiles of the nation."

During the announcements, the word "lie" appeared at the upper right angle of the screen instead of the term "live" that is usually used for news flashes."

Today's SITE Institute analysis has this to say about the latest issue of the al-Qaeda biweekly "Sawt al-Jihad" [Voice of Jihad] online magazine a.k.a. the "S9" document...

Attyiat-Allah also writes about a possible future attack on the same scale as 9-11, stating, "[T]he truth is that for a long time now, I was raising a simple yet specific and clear question to some people who have connections in al-Qaeda, asking them if there is going to be a second, bigger attack. From the answers, some of the next attack's features were gathered, and the following are the most prominent:

*** It will be an innovative attack, in the sense that it will be completely unexpected, and impossible for them [the West] to even think about or picture its way of action, for it is unimaginable in the normal way.

*** It will be bigger, in the sense that the loss from which America and the Western World will suffer [will be bigger], because it will be very big and immeasurable.

*** Due to its greatness, it will change the global power balance.
