Of course, I haven't read the past 50 or so posts (much less be able to keep up with this thread), but FYI, earlier today on FOX, Shep said that the RUMORS that UBL was captured is just that....RUMORS...and if/when that should ever occur....FOX will make that known.....who/what is the source of the rumor that he's been captured??? (Thanks)

OSAMA BIN LADEN MAY BE IN US CUSTODY!!!!!!!!!

We have just recieved two unconfirmed reports from US Government sources in Virginia that US SOF captured Osama bin Laden in Iran today. The offical stance will be to deny these reports until Osama bin Laden is secreted to a secure location under US control. We are awaiting a third source on this breaking news and will update the NEIN site with that third source corroborating the information we currently have.

Could be that people expecting to hear from him haven't and started the rumor. I know our guys would never tell.

They have always been telling us to prepare for the return of Christ. I don't really follow their doctrine much anymore, but as I recall, gas wasn't always something they said would be needed, as you wouldn't really want to go anywhere while all that was going on. Regarding terrorism though, gas can be essential. One of the best things they told us to do though, was bottle our own fruit and vegetables. That's good, as you said, cause you can drink the juice. They told us to prepare for an unspecified amount of time, so we have 2 barrels full of wheat, and a large amount of canned and frozen foods, and are always preserving fruits and vegetables and saving other foods. Along with a generator, first aid supplies and 3 shotguns with enough ammo to hold out for a long time. We only have enough for a few months, but some people I know have gone and stocked up enough for a year or more. Basically stocking up for the Second Coming. I think if it's at all possible, stocking up for something like that, although it may or may not happen in our lifetimes, is a good thing, so you don't get caught off guard for anything at all. I'll have to take your advice with some of the things you have posted. A few of the things are something I hadn't thought of before.

I have been following your posts for a long time, thanks for all you do.

For years I was a Foster Parent, and have had children come to me, after their world went crazy.

They would strike out at anyone, in any way they could.

Nothing could be done with them, they had been brainwashed to the point that they could not be in the same home with normal children.

One family, of 4 children, the 3 younger were savable, the 10 year old would attack them, when he caught them attempting to join in the family.

Then there was Mark, who lived in his own world and did not communicate with anyone. There is a fancy name for it, and we were lucky, the State of California Lady who had sent him to me, came and acted like an aunt, so she could see.

She was able to find a placement with trained people, who I hope were able to help.

Then there was the other 60 or so, who were glad to have a good home.

So, yes, I see the terrorists both striking out like a ball of Rattlesnakes and being very quiet and striking where we are least prepared.

I think that if I felt "all was lost", I would say "What the Hell, I will take a few with me" and go for it.

If OBL has been captured, then all we have really gained is the glee of laughing at the communist-liberal-democrat, who says that President Bush couldn't do it.

Well, perhaps I should have said "towards the end of the Cold War" but when we arrived on base we were handed our ration cards & a little pocket guide for the air raid sirens so we would know the difference between "we're under attack" & "all clear". It included the military version of the color-coded system...I think Red Alert meant an attack was imminent & Black meant we were under attack. Of course as it turned out we never were under attack, but there were several times that the jets were scrambled because Soviet planes, sometimes bombers, had flown into our airspace.

It was a different time that lasted from about 1990 or so until 9/11/2001 I think. We're in a different kind of Cold War now, although "cold" was a misnomer in both cases.
