Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

The mahdi figure in Shi'i carries more weight than the Sunni. There have been several individuals in the Sunni sect to carry the term Mahdi, including some caliphs and even military heroes.

Nothing of the Mahdi is mentioned in the Quran. Seems to be a 2nd or 3rd century adaptation of Jesus.

However, after I was told that (by a translator) I started surfing "daleel" and did find a some directories.

It actually can be used in both contexts. You'll hear people ask for the daleel of something in a religous context - the evidence, or proof. It's also commonly used for web directories and listings.

So both are correct depending upon the dialect - words take on different meanings in different areas.

thanks you both! I didn't know the other meaning. I've surfed for "daleel" and usually only find "evidence or proof" to be the meaning. Although while surfing for many islamic words, (I don't remember which words) I come up with loads of directories where a site should have been. I hate that.

Who? Daleel or EOM? There is a posting that might be Daleel or a Daleel wannabe - the authenticity has not been established but it was posted from the UAE, if I recall correctly. I haven't seen or heard anything that looks remotely like a legitimate EOM posting in a couple of days.

Laden, bombs, scuba divers,etc. come from? That recent image of Bush inthe crosshairs also had a scuba diver on the right...Where was the image found that showed the planes and the 2 towers burning that was discovered to have been on an Islamic calander before 9-11? Are these new images from a calander too?(soo sorry..that's more than

That was what the posting said :( It sounds pretty ominous. The House of Saud is in for some rough days I'm afraid. I've read message after message, and the bottom line is Al Qaeda intends to remove the House of Saud and replace it with one that better suits its view of how the "Arabian Island" (Saudi Arabia) should be governed.

By the way, trivia note for the day. AQ uses the word "Arabian Island" or "Arab Island" to refer to Saudi Arabia and the entire Arabian peninsula. Saudi Arabia actually translates to the Arabia of the Saud's meaning the family of Saud, or the house of Saud. Eventually they are going to want the rest of the peninsula too. They aren't going to be settled with Saudi.
