Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I don't think so. If it's like the one my husband used to use, it's just synchronized with another computer that generates random, 10-digit numbers at regular intervals (every minute). So, if say you wanted to work from home this weekend but needed access to info on the network in the office, you would dial-up using whatever number showed-up at that moment as your password. This would give you access to your office computer without making it very likely that anyone else could hack in because one minute isn't long enough to try every possible permutation of numbers as the password.
Hope this helps. :)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1059123/posts "Arrest Links Pakistan to Nuke Black Market"
AP via NYT ^ | January 16, 2004 | Staff

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON (AP) -- This month's arrest of a South Africa-based businessman accused of smuggling nuclear bomb triggers to Pakistan offers a rare window into the worldwide black market for nuclear weapons parts.
Authorities accuse Asher Karni, 50, of being the middleman for a complex series of transactions involving dozens of the triggers. Agents arrested Karni Jan. 2 at Denver International Airport.
Court documents say Karni used a series of front companies and misleading shipping documents to buy the devices from a Massachusetts company, have them sent through New Jersey to South Africa, then on to the United Arab Emirates and eventually to Pakistan. What Karni didn't know, a federal officer said in an affadavit, was that authorities had intervened and had the manufacturer sabotage the devices so they couldn't be used.
The case is the latest indication that Pakistan -- a key U.S. ally in the war on terrorism -- is deeply involved in the nuclear weapons black market. The United States for years has restricted exports of sensitive goods to Pakistan because of its nuclear weapons program."

LOL! Why would these goofballs have a public argument about "loose lips?" A previous post on that Yahoo! EOM group from someone calling himself "Jack Ryan" went on and on about the significance of "1424" and the end of "1424" coming up and how the "Black House Wizards" were conspiring against the American people.
And with all the talk about how plainly ridiculous these posts are, I would bet this is yet another "compilation of previous comments" rolled into a "jihadi" communication.
It's so transparent. Not shooting the messenger, just criticizing the message. If enough people make references to "The Bachelorette", it'll be revisited in a "new" EOM message next week.

it's not even a jihad comment, I think it's a satire someone made up

Give them credit - they really have an excellent command of Arabic swear words. I never learned how to do more than insult someone's mother in Arabic :( Now watch my Freepmail fill up with words I have to go look up :(

GIVE ME A BREAK...it sounds exactly like the author is listening in on this board...but has to add "cell 404" to make it sound legit...(my yelling is not at you milkncookies)...thanks though..

It was quite well done. (needed humor break)

This is something to be worried about. Corroborated evidence of black market nuclear technology sales... CIA has its hands full.

In terms of the word "Tahiya", I ran across this:
An Odissi dancer has elaborate hair-do in a knot adorned with the "Tahiya" which represents a temple tower. From http://www.orissa-tourism.com/perfarts.htm
Not sure about the language though.

Could this be camouflaged to appear as an ordinary (& safe) computer "thingy" & actually be a component that could be used to assemble something in an airplane restroom? I remember some years back, ME guys coming over from Canada with boxes of Casio watches and other items...all items appeared harmless until someone said that if you took them and added a couple of other items, you'd have a nice bomb.

Yep.

Why would these goofballs have a public argument about "loose lips?"
I know. Goofball may be an accurate term for these posters...maybe they are 'useful idiots' to the real jihadis. Maybe they are tasked to this "very important job of communications" so that hopefully (to the jihadis) the audience/readers are looking at what the magician is doing with his right hand and miss what he is doing with his left hand. Just distraction.
Could be a bunch of Barney Fife's, especially EOM! Home grown and not very bright? Could be very expendable to their leaders when they are no longer useful or their involvement becomes a problem, if so.

Interesting. Indonesia, right? There's already been a few times when Indonesia has popped up on these IP's.
