A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Kind of strange. Maybe the helicopter and the birds represent jihad buzzards.
ABSOLUTELY. That article you asked about Jeremiah was based off a report from ALEX BELIDA who is a V-O-A Correspondent. Now note,
1- Voices of America is listed with the NGO
2- The article that ALEX BELIDA wrote with his own twist is NOT the Rumsfeld Transcript I posted here from DOD.Mil If you ever want to know the REAL DOD news, go here: http://www.freerepublic.com/~ragtimecowgirl or ask to be added to our Pro Military news ping list.

THE world's largest ocean liner, the Queen Mary 2, has arrived at the Portuguese island of Madeira under tight security following an anonymous bomb threat.
The ship was escorted by two police boats as it arrived on schedule in the port of Funchal, capital of the island located off the coast of Morocco, and was docked away from the other ships.
The London headquarters of the British shipping company Cunard, which owns the ship, last night received three anonymous phone calls in which the caller said there were bombs on board the ocean liner, according to Luis Aguiar, a representative of the company's affiliate in Portugal.
Two divers today inspected the port waters before the ship's arrival in Funchal and gave the all clear.
Dozens of security agents could be seen guarding the area near the ship, which was declared off-limits to the public and to non-authorised vehicles.
On arrival in Funchal the black-hulled 345-metre ship was greeted by about 20 other vessels and thousands of onlookers who gathered on the oceanfront, the Lusa news agency reported.
Garlands of flowers and miniature bottles of the local Madeira wine were distributed to the 2620 passengers on board.
Luxury buses were made available to passengers wishing to visit the scenic island.
The ship was due to leave Funchal later today to continue its maiden voyage to Fort Lauderdale, in the southern US state of Florida. Its next stop is Spain's Canary Islands.
The voyage is the first serious test of Queen Mary 2's seaworthiness since it was constructed and launched last year at Saint Nazaire, on the French Atlantic coast.
It was baptised by Queen Elizabeth II at a pomp-filled ceremony in Southampton, its home port, last week.
Cunard says the ship, which has 17 decks, four swimming pools and a host of luxury shops, cost $US800 million ($1.04 billion).
We can start by asking questions like: "Why weren't the "suspicious men" in post #10450 above apprehended"???
Boggles my mind.
I certainly does boggle the mind. That seems to be the case with these types of stories. The passenger's name appears on a watch list and is deemed suspicious enough to stop or re-route a flight, yet it seems that EACH time it's a mistake or an unruly passenger, or a drunk passenger and the story is never followed up after that. It disappears down a black hole with all the others. I didn't realize there would be a threat againt the Queen Mary today. Was there talk of it yesterday?
