"Man Shot Outside L.A. Court Hearing in Blake Case"

Was it this guy doing the shooting?

There hasn't been a whole lot of work since the "Rooster" gig.

Thanks for being so gentle and civil.

Larry Klayman is a lawyer. Pontius Pilate was not.

That should do it!!!

Hope the guy is okay.

He'll never be OK. He's a lawyer. But, yeah, I guess we should hope that his injuries aren't too severe. Or maybe you meant the shooter?

Thanks for the link.

Not only is this guy a real bad shot but a great candidate for 'worlds dumbest criminal' series. No shortage of TV cameras and still photographers.

Read this closely, because it's the last word you'll get from me. I'll make it easy on you and give you one example out of hundreds:

What would Jefferson think of the absolute death of common sense over the suit involving McDonald's coffee and the abject stupidity of an old woman?

One reason industry is leaving America in droves is because of the choking legal obscenities facing them, never mind an individual trying to start his own business here.

"That lawyer moved like that dude in the Matrix."

Probably because of the deposit in the seat of his drawers.

Honest, I really want to feel compassion for lawyers.

Any attack on an attorney (an officer of the court) constitutes an attack on all of our most important traditions and institutions.

You're confusing the law with the Church, aren't you?

So then you're condoning violence against lawyers. If so, then you really are one sick MF.

Attorneys are much more important to the stability of our society than mere cardinals, bishops and priests. I shudder to think what we might soon become without lawyers.

BTW, do you know what Lincoln did for a living before he got mixed up in politics and saved the Union?

Jefferson trusted the people. He would have let the jury decide the case. ;-)

Be fair. No evidence has been produced to prove that this lawyer did not deserve to be shot.

I might agree with you under other circumstances (like maybe if the shooter didn't know he was shooting an attorney), but this assault on an officer of the court occurred at the courthouse. He must have known that his victim is a lawyer. The shooter looked "crazed" to me, almost like he just didn't care about our society or institutions.

He said with tongue firmly in cheek.

I'm a Southerner. I have trouble revering Lincoln; I happen to believe that the South had the right to secede, and Lincoln's "saving" the Union was the beginning of our current bloated Federal government- which is another argument on the side of lawyers ruining the country, since Lincoln was one.
