You're confusing the law with the Church, aren't you?Attorneys are much more important to the stability of our society than mere cardinals, bishops and priests. I shudder to think what we might soon become without lawyers.
BTW, do you know what Lincoln did for a living before he got mixed up in politics and saved the Union?

Be fair. No evidence has been produced to prove that this lawyer did not deserve to be shot.

I'm a Southerner. I have trouble revering Lincoln; I happen to believe that the South had the right to secede, and Lincoln's "saving" the Union was the beginning of our current bloated Federal government- which is another argument on the side of lawyers ruining the country, since Lincoln was one.

Attorneys are much more important to the stability of our society than mere cardinals, bishops and priests. That is absurd. The Founders themselves declared that constitutional government was meant for a self-disciplined society. Where do you think the discipline came from? Lawyers? Ridiculous.

I shudder to think what we might soon become without lawyersIf you are an attorney, you are way too full of yourself. Otherwise you would have a better understanding of what most people think of attorneys and more importantly, why. If you are not an attorney, you need to get out more.
