lots of congresscritters whining about alert systems that didn't work, conflicting orders given by LE etc. At least they had an incident that exposed the flaws and at the same time did not do any real harm.

GAH! I do lunch with a friend & come back to this...and then find out it was a toy gun.

I think what they know is that they would have been able to get a weapon into the building, under the system that has existed until now.
