I finally have an update on Jim--the Lord has answered our prayers!!! I am very happy to report Jim is now resting at home. He came through with flying colors and they were able to keep the procedure limited to laproscopy. The flare up that caused him to go back in was an irritation of the last surgery site but did not have any infection in it which was a concern. He plans on coming back to the office on Monday. I'm going to have my hands full trying to figure out how to make a Marine into a desk jockey!! I think I need prayers now! :) I want each and everyone of you to know, from the bottom of my heart, how much I appreciate all of your prayers and concern about Jim. We now have cause for rejoicing and prayers of thanksgiving, I thank the Lord for every one of you. May He continue to bless us all.

Still playing catchup with my ISP acting up. It just dies after about an hour or so and turning the modem off for 3 minutes and then rebooting breathes life back into it.

In fact, I see now that it has died again as I type this right now ! Wah !

Well, I'm learning how to deal with this anyway. I copied my post/text to my MS Word file and will save it, rebooted and posting it here after all that !

The Comcast Technician is supposed to be here tomorrow morning to check out my modem ...

Richland, huh ?? That is where Ming's son took some of his classes. He got his degree in Computer Science Engineering from UT Dallas last Spring.

Going back to school, huh ?? GOOD for you !! I did that. Right out of High School, I went 2 years to UT Arlington and dropped out for almost 7 years. Went back when I was almost 27 and finished up my degree in 3 years. I lived in the dorm my first year back in school. Since I was 27, all the dorm rats called me the "Old Man", LOL !! ...

I like my socks ironed and hung up straight so they won't wrinkle.
Also, I like to have each pair labeled with a magic marker in letters 1/2 inch high: "Right" and "Left".
That saves me a lot of confusion when I start to put them on.
