We went through this here in Florida in '98. It's not fun.I don't recall anything like this in Florida. I remember weeks of smog, and I still see the charred remains of trees along I-10, but it wasn't anyways near this bad.

I forgot, there was a spot fire in green valley last night too....look at the map....the fire is coming north into big bear, not east

Reporting fire still not at Arrowhead Lake -- jumping back and forth across 18, but firefighters holding it. (Seems contrary to pics we saw from the choppers before it got dark over Arrowhead.)

I10 and 8th is Beaumont. From nic's report can't tell if it is a vehicle fire or not...probably would state a vehicle fire though of it was. This is just getting too stinkin close to home now. :)
