I would take the reports of widespread arson with a grain of salt. I've been monitoring news all day, web, radio and TV and have seen no mention of this anywhere but here.
I'm not saying it can't be true but, you have to wonder since if it was true, it'd be BIG news.

Yes, but normally you would think that out of control fires burning up over 1100 homes and killing at least 13 (perhaps dozens more) would be BIG news in and of itself, whether arson or not . . . the way the media is treating this is one of the strangest things I've ever observed . . . should be wall to wall, 24/7 on all the big cable news channels . . .

TL..don't have any Reynolds wrap in the kitchen, however, my brother has been on 3 fires during the last 6 days and he told me yesterday afternoon that many of the oldtimer firefighters feel that the uncanny placement of hot spots is beyond an act of nature. He has been in the business for 25 years and can't believe that the past week is a fluke.

KFI reported that the San Bernardino fire was definitely arson and now considered a homocide investigation and in the middle of the afternoon they declared the Simi Valley fire arson. Others are suspicious according to LA County fire authorities except for the moron hunter in San Diego County. There were no lightening strikes that could have caused the other fires.
