An ambulance returned Terri Schiavo to hospice care in Florida on Wednesday evening.

PINELLAS PARK, Florida (CNN) -- The brain-damaged woman at the center of a Florida right-to-die controversy had her feeding tube reinserted Wednesday, a day after the governor ordered her feedings be renewed.

The husband has declined to comment on whether there is an outstanding life insurance policy on his wife.

well, I'd say there's the answer, right in there ...

This is just bizarre....one report says he is allowing them to visit, the other says he has banned the entire family from visitation.

Excerpt:

In another development Wednesday, David Demeres, the chief judge of Pinellas County Circuit Court, ordered lawyers for both sides to agree within five days on an independent guardian for Terri, as required under the law signed by the governor.

The new guardian would become Terri Schiavo's advocate in legal proceedings, but Michael Schiavo would remain the decision-maker.

If an agreement cannot be reached, Demeres said, he will appoint Dr. Jay Wolfson, a professor of health and law at Stetson University, as the guardian. Wolfson also works for the College of Public Health at Florida State University and the College of Medicine at the University of South Florida.

The order signed by Bush Tuesday stated that a "guardian ad litem" should be appointed to the case.

A guardian ad litem is a person appointed by the court to represent the best interests of one or more children in a court action that may affect them. "Ad litem" is Latin for "for this litigation."

No insurance company would pay it at this point. This case is too well known and too many people have questioned Michael's motives and involvement in her initial collapse.

Michael Schiavo's character, or lack thereof, is the cause of all this. If Terri really did say she wanted no extraordinary measures then he didn't act like it.

Nothing will really change for Terri until this is dealt with. Michael needs to be removed from any decision making in her case. Maybe if he was removed he would finally divorce her and make his two kids legitimate.

depending upon how the policy is written they'd probably have no choice ... unless he pushes her out the window of the hospital, which he is effectively trying to do, there's nothing to stop them ... and, of course, life insurance isn't stopped at that point either ... however, in criminal cases I think they can block the payment and the money goes elsewhere(?) ... law experts, please comment ...

At least this article contains more info about the money involved than others I've seen.

And also some good quotes by Terri's father.

A guardian ad litem would be able to file for his removal as guardian. Given the level of publicity this case has received, I don't think any judge would want to deny.

Well, if an insurance company refuses to pay, the worst that can happen is he sues them. Then they start asking some questions he'd rather not answer.

Pinging my ping list for the last time tonight.

Further info. Reading a CNN account with Felos quotes is more than anyone who cares about Terri should have to take at this point. FELOS still acting as Terri's spokesman.

Husband who prefers his wife dead and his 'Grim Reaper' lawyer Felos who rode Terri's 'death' to Oprah Winfrey and beyond - are still calling the shots.

Hospice contact info.

ProofG@aol.com ~ George Felos

ggreer@co.pinellas.fl.us ~ Judge George Greer

Contact the good guys, please. Terri needs an advocate for the pro-life side near her until a guardian is appointed. :
