Nothing will really change for Terri until this is dealt with. Michael needs to be removed from any decision making in her case. Maybe if he was removed he would finally divorce her and make his two kids legitimate.

A guardian ad litem would be able to file for his removal as guardian. Given the level of publicity this case has received, I don't think any judge would want to deny.

I wonder if Judge Greer would be the one ruling on whether she'd get a new guardian or not. If so, I'll bet he'd say no.
