What I fail to understand is why some safeguard wasn't built into the Bill that would have prevented something like this in the first place.

The Bill was composed in minutes. The Senate amended it at rocket speed. Most of the time was spent debating. It's surprising it's as good as it is.

Please find an email from Delegate Marshall in response to mine:

Dear Delegate Marshall:

I applaud your efforts in aiding Terri Schiavo; may God bless you one hundred times over. One thing that I am confused about: the legislature passed a law putting a moritorium on Terri's situation, although Michael is still the legal guardian, what can he do to her and not break the new law? Also, is Terri under 24 hour guard...I sure hope so.

Thank you again,

His response:

The Jeb Bush people are not doing any follow-up of Terri to any extent. That is part of the problem in Florida. I called his Chief of Staff - Denver Stottle, and have not yet have received a return call. The family needs a political contact next to Bush to get things done, or else Terri will die.

I was interviewed by ABC in Wsahington DC tonight. I said that because of the trail of civil rights abuses of Terri, the Bush Administration is the only thing standing bertween Terri and death. It will be on the 11:00 news here, channel 7. I hope it gets their attention.

Del. Bob Marshall

PS Say a few prayers, and have your friends do the same. I sent almost 15 faxes to major political figures here in DC including the White House. I was praying as I faxed these letters, and each one went through on the first try. Heaven is helping. We have to keep helping back.

I never expected this. She could not have been stabilized that quickly.

This man will do anything to kill her. If he succeeds in killing her, I want an autopsy done and the books audited.

HOLD ON. FELOS had an elderly client who wished to be starved to death as her final wishes. At that time in 1989, the law would not permit such a thing. Once they massaged the exit protocols, food became medical treatment/life support and in 1990 the Florida Supremes found for old lady Browning that food would be considered life support or something like that.

Felos was bragging in the sptimes.com the other day that it was because of old lady Browning, his client, he was able to free Terri (off her). After the 1990 Supremes decision, Felos served on the Hospice Board. When he got wind of Terri, someone hooked him up with Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer and the fix was in. This is not my opinion. This is all because of old lady Browning. PER FELOS HIMSELF IN THE ST. PETERSBURG TIMES. Felos wants to keep starving & dehydrating vulnerable people. That's his mission in life.
