David Schuman (who is pro Death With Dignity): "The question isn't whether or not this is something that is appropriate for Congress to do or something that would be a good policy decision on the part of Congress. The question is whether or not Congress has the constitutional authority to do it. And the way the Supreme Court has recently been interpreting Congress's authority under Article 1 of the Constitution, this isn't within it."
IMHO, we do NOT want Congress dictating whether we live or die, or how. And it's not a good idea to try to get the U.S. Supreme Court involved.
