While online, I'm taping Fox. Will view it after this last post for tonight.

In searching, I came up with an October 27, 1999 pbs.org page - a debate in the U.S. House on assisted suicide.

The very last comment by Rep. David Schuman (who is pro Death With Dignity): "The question isn't whether or not this is something that is appropriate for Congress to do or something that would be a good policy decision on the part of Congress. The question is whether or not Congress has the constitutional authority to do it. And the way the Supreme Court has recently been interpreting Congress's authority under Article 1 of the Constitution, this isn't within it."

IMHO, we do NOT want Congress dictating whether we live or die, or how. And it's not a good idea to try to get the U.S. Supreme Court involved.

So, you are for killing disabled people for no good reason? There is reasonable doubt. There is no written directives. Where is Terri's guarantee to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? You don't know anything about Terri's situation. See ya.
