Have you seen posted yet exactly WHY this law is unconstitutional?
I have heard a bunch of raving elitists loudly claim that it is. But mostly they seem to be absolutely torked off that the Executive and Legislative branches of the State of Florida, operating as designed by the constitution, and at the loud cries from the public, stopped the Judicial branch from creating a "right" to murder by cruel starvation a severely disabled woman.
No judge in the State of Florida will be retained come next election cycle,if I get my wish.
Greer is out for sure, and he knows it.
I tried to get information on judges last election, and it was as hard to find a reliable basis for an informed decision as it is to research a new doctor.
Eyes wide open now, time for a thorough housecleaning by we, the people.
VOTE NO.EVERY JUDGE.EVERY ELECTION. AS LONG AS REQUIRED TO CLEAN UP THIS JUDICIAL MESS.

Just found this at
http://www.dredf.org/assistedsuicide.html

"...if someone has a chronic illness that is not terminal, that individual is not eligible for assisted suicide under any proposal in the U.S., nor under the Oregon Death with Dignity Act (Oregon is the only state where assisted suicide is legal). Furthermore, any individual whose illness has brought about depression that affects the individual’s judgment is also ineligible, according to every U.S. proposal as well as Oregon’s law."

I'm wondering if---assuming (as we don't) that Terri DID make some statement to MS about right to die---it should be considered a remark made by a person suffering depression (as over the demise of her grandmother), and therefore a remark of less weight.

Site's main page is http://www.dredf.org/ "(DREDF) is a national law and policy center dedicated to protecting and advancing the civil rights of people with disabilities through legislation, litigation, advocacy, technical assistance, and education and training of attorneys, advocates, persons with disabilities, and parents of children with disabilities."

Search of their site found nothing for "Schiavo."

As I understood it from watching the House session, it is about the legislative and judicial branches staying separate and not overruling each other.
