Radio said that he quit in protest over having to feed her again. It said he was the doctor for the last five years. Honestly there is not much call for doctors in hospice.

"I sent them an e-mail yesterday. AARP responded with they haven't taken a stand. I would copy and paste but I can't open edit when my aol mail on for some reason." It is my understanding that that is untrue. I received a FReepmail from Saundra Duffy this afternoon and asked her permission to post it. Hadn't gotten around to it till now. Here is the content of the FReepmail, including the letter that she wrote to AARP"
"I just read on a pro life web site that the AARP/Florida is considering jumping in this - TO SUPPORT MICHAEL SCHIAVO! Spread the word! I have just sent the following email to AARP Florida (flaarp@aarp.org):" "I just read on a website that AARP is considering entering the legal battle over Terri Schiavo, not to save Terri from being deprived of food and water, but to support her "husband" in his quest to kill her. I am an AARP member (#307082496 0) and so help me God if AARP sticks its nose into this fight to help KILL a living breathing innocent human being, I will raise holy hell. Furthermore, I think it is despicable that you, who are supposed to be advocating for the rights of older, vulnerable persons, would even consider supporting those who wish to terminate lives of persons with disabilities. Terri Schindler Schiavo is simply a person with severe disabilities but that does not make her less human. If AARP participates in this grizzly murder, you deserve our contempt and disgust. It is against the law to withhold food and water from FARM ANIMALS. Yet AARP wants to participate in the starvation of a living breathing innocent human being. For God's sake, do not enter this legal battle over life and death! Terri's "husband" and his lawyer have got some kind of money scam going on. The public is not being fully informed. Michael Schiavo has used about a half a million dollars that was supposed to have gone to care for Terri to give to his lawyer for legal fees. A half a million dollars!! And AARP wants to help Mr. Schiavo and his lawyer?! You have to be kidding. Please, again I beg you, do not enter this legal circus. Mr. Schiavo and his lawyer were nearly able to murder an innocent woman. Thank God Gov. Bush stepped in or Terri would be dead already. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!"
I am changing the name of my "Friends of Terri" ping list to "Terri's Army". Anyway, anybody wanting on or off, let me know.

This concerns me. With a few exceptions voting in Florida seems to be along party lines. I think I read somewhere that the lawyer was hoping to have it before them in 3 weeks. Any idea what other options Terri may have to keep it from going to them?

Thanks Budge.
"quit in protest over having to feed her again"
Oh, well, how inconvenient for a doctor to have to work to SAVE a patient instead of killing her. Pernicious vermin!

I don't know Cindy. My brain is so tired. It has been on this night and day. If we keep praying I trust that God will give us direction.

The IRS investigates the person who reports and the person whom you report.
Many a wife/husband finds this out the hard way in post divorce proceedings.

AARP lost me when the went anti-harley-davidson.
To: sweetliberty
After I sent out to my email group this a.m., I immediately rec'd back replies letting me know that AARP is very liberal and was very supportative of Clintoon. I figured right then that they'd not be helpful; however, I do not see their payees being none too happy with them taking a stand on killing the disabled for obvious reasons.
To: sweetliberty
Here is a thought. If the husband is the legal guardian, as in there was a court proceeding which had him declared legal guardian as opposed to being with autority by mere being her husbad, the state of FL has accounting requirements for the guardianship which mandates the filing of an anual report. Many immediate family guardians fail to do this. What county is she in?
To: atruelady
Have you got the contact addresses to report medicaid fraud? Has anyone done this so far? Surely as public as this has become they are aware of Michael's "assets". Do they have to have a complaint to act? If anyone has contacted them, I would be interested to know the response. I would also be interested to know if he is drawing disability on Terri. Seems I read somewhere that medicaid kicked in on hospice care regardless of the patient's other assets, but I could be mistaken. Everything is kinda starting to run together.

Thanks much for your reply - I'm now sure if he/they are committing any kind of fraud - wouldn't know how to find out. Just wanted to throw the idea out there just in case it wasn't thought of and someone would know something. I'm also desparate to get these guys out of the picture, and of course, I do want to do it legit. So, anyone out there with any ideas. In case ya'll are wondering, this is my 1st post - I've been avidly reading EVERYTHING I could on Terri and EVERYTHING I could that you freepers have written. PLEASE keep on freeping, and GOD bless you all. (SweetLiberty, you're the best! I love your posts.)

If you have any information at all that he did not pay taxes or falsified returned, you can phone taxpayer service.
To: longtermmemmory
Pinelles County I believe. Yes, I know that they are required to file yearly reports or somthing. Don't know how you'd find out if this has been done. Would it be public record?

Are any of yall members? I wonder if they have a chat room. I've been thinking today that if we could reach the right people (religious, seniors, handicapped, pro lifers etc.) netting that we might be able to draw in more support. I'm going to thumb thru my husbands AARP magazines that are piled on his desk (that he never reads)
