"I would hope that the laws intended to protect the privacy of the victim wouldn't prevent the prosecution of her killer."

Why not? They seem to be preventing his apprehension before he is able to finish the job.

"I have read these reports of him injecting Terri with Insulin"

If that's true, and she's not diabetic ,they can get him. Someone needs to call in a detective, a real good detective, to check into this. You can't just go to the Save-On and buy Insulin over the counter. A doctor has to prescribe it. If Mike Schiavo got insulin, there should be a record. Check his relatives/friends , see if any of them are diabetic, if so-bring them in for questioning ,- Also, the nurses notes from when it was given to her should reflect that she had a "bad" reaction, signs and symptoms of a bad reaction-if it was given to her and she isn't diabetic.

I would bring in Mikes brother and sister-in law too- who stated in court- that "Terri said she wouldn't want to live with a feeding tube" and question them in detail. Ask them to take a lie-detector test.

I'll be interested to see what Jeb and legislature do tommorow.

Pray for Terri

Felos just happened to be Chairman of the Board of the Hospice!

So many strange and inexplicable connections here. If this case doesn't get a gigantic investigation,
then why do we even have investigators?

He doesn't have to be. He has special "powers" don't you know? See my posts here, here, and here.

First of all, Terri should never have been placed in Hospice! Never, never, never! Hospice is only to accept patients that have 6 months or less to die for an incurable disease!

Now with that said, we can see the "good ole boy" and money being made off of her in this particuliar Hospice!

Not all Hospice care facilities are like this!!!! That point needs to be made!!!! I seriously doubt that any other is in gross violation of their own policy!

There is an evil connection here! And it is called Greed!

>>I would like to know how much life insurance is taken out on her? That is the big question now!

He's already gotten 1.75 MILLION awarded in medical malpractice insurance(per CNN).

I'd bet anything, there is an additional sum dangling out there in LIFE insurance, but probably smaller in comparison.

Just think... You, I, and everyone with MEDICAL INSURANCE have had higher premiums thanks to these leeches/murderers.

And I tend to believe the radiologist who reported on her broken bones and traumatic injuries as being the cause of her original loss of respiration. (A respiration technician like Michael could make it look REALLY CONVINCING for a jury)

"Unless guardianship, complete guardianship, is transferred immediately to someone who gives a damn, this woman is going to die."

Hopefully, someone is exploring the criminal angle by now and hubby dearest's days may be numbered. I mean, if he is being detained in police custody, it only stands to reason that the then next of kin would take over his duties as Terri's guardian. I can't believe that with all that is out there now which was hidden before, that somebody isn't working their heart out to bring this criminal to justice.

"Suppossedly he works in a hospital"

That might give him easier access, but it depends on what he did in the hospital-and still, you can't get drugs for no reason. Everything is supposed to be signed for . I heard he claimed he wanted to be nurse, but never actually became one. He wouldn't have direct access to drugs, in that case, but , if he was working at a hospital , it would be worth a check to see if any Insulin came up missing/un-accounted for from the Pharmacy or from any patients.

Also, I'm not entirely up on my pharmacology- but Insulin might be related to Terri's initial "mysterious" collapse? Maybe check her labs exc...(I'm thinking this, since some have claimed he tried to inject her with it on more than one occassion-maybe that was his original plan?) Also, the hospital may not have checked for an Insulin overdose, since she wasn't diabetic as far as we know.

Like I said, she needs a real good detective to look into these things.

Pray for Terri

"Somebody needs to reign Attorney Felos in who is telling Michael what to do. Hubby appears to be brainless and taking orders from Attorney Forced Exit."

Or maybe he needs to be given just enough rope to hang himself. He is being an ass and doing so very publicly. I am daring to hope that HE is being baited by someone.

I've been making that mental association since I started following this case closely. Birds of a feather....not only flock together but all look alike.

"If she's there for free, then they don't have to comply with the federal guidelines about Medicare, now do they?"

Interesting observation. I suspect that she is only there for free "officially." But the money is coming from somewhere....and it is going somewhere to pad the interests of someone in a position of some influence in the hospice. Am I getting warmer?

Any way to get contact info on the little people who work at the hospice....nurses aides, personal care assistants, janitors, orderlies? Someone who has less to lose might be quicker to risk everything for conscience' sake.

That has GOT to qualify as one of the most dumb@$$ statements of all time.
