UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. That's an understatement. The medical privacy act forbids them from revealing anything except cursory information to third parties.

I agree .. if you are not direct family, they normally won't tell anyone squat

Johnny Byrd was great. Unflappable (pun intended), kept saying "We have to err on the side of life." Near the end with Hannity he said "We need to let this beautiful young lady go home where her parents can care for her and have the quality of life that she can have." He sounded like a very good man.

Call an ambulance and remove her from that facility. The paramedics must take a patient anywhere the patient/guardian chooses unless there is an immediate danger of death, then they have to go to the nearest hospital.

Start the IV en route and GO! Surely there are physicians and nurses who will volunteer to ride along if necessary. I would.

My friend has been friends with terris parents for 2 years and that was a response to my email inquiry 40 mins ago.

Today, October 21, 2003, the Florida Legislature and House passed bill 35E - Terri's Bill - into law.

This law allowed Florida's Governor, Jeb Bush, to issue an Executive Order allowing nutrition and hydration to be returned to the disabled Florida woman.

Terri had been without nutrition and hydration for more than 6 days.

She has been transported to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater.

At 8.30 PM, a hearing is scheduled via telephone to Judge Baird of Pinellas County, Florida as Terri's husband attempts to obtain an emergency injunction against this action and sue the Governor of the State of Florida. We will keep you posted.

Call them? What good will that do? It's a hospital, not a senator's office. Its been 7 days. She's about gone anyway. I'd be real surprised if she pulls through.
