Never, never doubt that the power of God can work among us today. We have witnessed it.

So you wouldn't want your husband to be guardian? If you don't trust him, why did you marry him? Are your commitments really taken so frivolously that we should expect your mommy and daddy to remain in the ball game for you?
To: bikerman
I guess this means the laws of the land and the judges who uphold the laws have just been told their voice and judgement mean nothing. I guess this means that you and your wife don't know the diference between right and wrong. Just because a judge orders it does not make it right.
The court order that was effectively to put this woman to death was wrong. Those who would hide behind it are cowards.

You seem to be playing a game here - do you lack common sense?
No medical degree is needed for anyone over the age of 5 to know that denying a person food is the same as murdering them.
Clearly FL legislature has the authority to define murder and to legislate against it.
CLearly the governor of FL has the authority to enforce such laws.

That judge will kick Mike out on his rear so fast he won't know what hit him. Mighty convenient of him to come in at that hour because he can also appoint the Guardian Ad Litem (assuming Bush has the state attorney general show up to ask for it). Thanks Mike!
To: bikerman
Don't worry, if you're lucky, they'll find in her husband's favor and Terri can starve to death again. Then *justice* will be done, no?????

Its deathboy!
To: Motherbear
You are a very wise lady, Motherbear!
To: Humidston
Let me get this straight....THEY MOVED TERRI???????
(Not to mention they've moved her out of that hell hole so-called "hospice."
To: beckett
Thank you, God - Please grant her health.
Thank you, Governor for your swift execution of the powers you obtained today.

"coma.woman"? Ugh CNN! How about "braindamaged.woman"

This law was passed over the objection of EVIL socialist Democrats in the Florida state House and Senate. There were some GOP "no" votes, too, today, including St. Sen. Nancy Argenziano, a conservative and Catholic -- or rather, a CINO. Her "no" vote is according to the list of votes I read on FR. I can only hope there was an error.

Bill O'Reilly has a poll up now that I am taking he will give results at the end of the show.....
Should Terri's tube be reinserted:
Yes
No
Here is the link, takes a few to load middle of page right hand side!

To: yonif
Can't Bush's order be stopped then?Only if the judge finds that the new law is unconstitutional.
To: mict42
It is disturbing to read that the tubes can be removed at the whim of whomever the sitting governor might be.
How sad that our in FL, respect for life is so wimpy that more permanent protection cannot be afforded to the waekest of FL's citizens.
To: ambrose
The facts and evidence are that Mikey is a slimey scheming weasel and Greer has cronies on the hospice board.

Seriously. We had a guy named Judge Sands who had a vendetta against my hometown. The case had something to do with desegregation in housing and schools. Totally wacko, off-the-charts leftists orders this judge gave. One to the point that the city tried to take him to the Supreme Court (it was rejected).
I believe the case went on for over 20 years. Might still be going on in some form.
