TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

Ok...aren't those with sound "obligated" to transcribe for those ( me ) without sound?? :o)

Probably to keep this thing from getting swatted down immediately like a fly. Felos is going to go after this full tilt and Greer is probably annoyed that he spent all that time -- 13 years -- sitting as judge upon it only to have THIS happen.
To: Humidston
They are trying to come up with a piece of legislation that won't be struck down by the courts as being unconstitutional.

Getting audio only on this link and happy for at least that, thanks. We have overloaded all their streams. :)

I'm just learning about committee stuff now....so the senate has a committe vote first, as to just hear it, right?

No, the bandwidth needed by the server is large. It is eating up most of your connection even if you are DSL. I don't even want to imagine dialup.

Isn't Geller the one from Broward County?
That says it all. Remember the 2000 election?

Geller says Michael Schiavo has been caring towards his wife. He says that doctors say Terri will feel NO PAIN and will not suffer during a dehydration death

If he were a smart man in any way, he would just move to another state and slink off if this saves her life. This should make him realize that none of us are going to stop fighting for her and he might as well give up and go away. With or without Terri? This would be one reason for the guardian at litem -- to forbid her removal from Florida.
To: sfRummygirl
Geller is clearly a JEB hating DEM....he's trying to derail this Bill.
