TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

A senator has just said to get on with it.
"If you don't like the bill, vote 'No' "
(Frittering away the time while Terri languishes between life and death.)
"Everything will be done today to save this woman's life.
Tomorrow someone will atack this bill as unconstitutional.
But by tomorrow, her feeding tube will be back in place, if she's still alive."
Amendment adopted.
Next amendment.
Amendment withdrawn (Good!)
just lost streaming video, hope just temporarily.

I can't see them taking her to surgery and inserting a stomach tube in her condition. (The site closes up really fast) She is going to need IVs and probably an NG tube right now. Assigning a guardian (overseeer) might be a good idea. She is going to need agressive care to recover from this and hospice isn't designed to do so.

I worry about the damage her body is incurring while they TALK.

Blue screen still there

Well the way I understood the main guy who was speaking, if the house approves it word for word, then it goes straight on to the gov. and she'd have her feeding tube back by tonight. He also said something about a GAL not having the authority to have it removed.
