I don't blame Wake for trying to get a first strike into a weak hitter. I don't blame Grady for leaving Pedro in. Pedro had some gas left but he threw a hittable pitch on 0-2.

I don't blame Wake, he's a nuckleballer they live and die by luck. I whole heartedly blame Grady, Pedro's tank was extremely empty and it was painfully obvious, he got no outs and few clean strikes in those 14 extra pitches he should never have gotten, it wasn't "a hittable pitch" that killed them it was 3 doubles and a single worth of hittable pitches. Much like the Cubs- Marlins series leaving a starting pitcher in way too long lost the series.
