Sorry if this post isn't " polished" and " refined" but I am not a seasoned " poster" here on FR.

Who decides if what you just said is true? The judiciary. Who decides if what Bush did is Constitutional? The judiciary. The judiciary could read the Constitution that says "The legislature may impeach a standing judge", and say that it's unconstitutional. How would you stop them short of armed troops?
You haven't noticed this? Abortion, gun control, the commerce clause, the destruction of states' rights... all of these violations of the Constitution weren't ultimately done by legislatures or executives - ultimately, it was judges. If the Constitution says "Black is Black", they can say "No it doesn't, black means white", and 250 years of Constitutional case law says that they are entitled to do so. The Courts interpret the Constitution to mean whatever they want it to. The plain meaning that you and I would read out of it is completely irrelevant. According to the law, the judge's interpretation is ALL that matters.
The only way their interpretation of the law can be challenged is by a higher court, and if a higher court says they won't hear it (which they did in Terri's case), then that's it.
For all intents and purposes anymore, all the legislatures can do is make suggestions to the judiciary. The judiciary is the true executive power. Only they have the power to enforce the law. And if the law doesn't suit them, they change it by "interpretation".
And not even an army of lawyers could stop them if they really got stubborn about it, because in the end, the judge decides if the lawyer's case has merit. Lawyers only have power because judges decide on the arguments they present. Without judges, lawyers are completely powerless.
So tell me again - how do you challenge a Judge?

You did catch me in an error. You're right, it would take the legislature to impeach Jeb. But he would be effectively impeached because he can't run the State from prison. If a Judge ordered Bush's arrest, the police would follow that order. Bush couldn't tell them not to arrest him. The Judge IS the law.

The enormity of the issue that got him there would be a factor too. I simply don't think an elected judge would go to the mat over the privilege of starving a disabled person. Could prove mighty unpopular.
And not to make light of it, but Jeb has connections in high places and he'd be a shoo-in for a presidential pardon.
Perhaps Jeb is a politician of rarefied honor, too decent to fix on the opponent's vulnerability, while too mindful of his own. But if it came to that I believe his little brother might know someone more practiced in handling varmints. And that, too, is standard politics---getting the goods on one's opponent. I doubt it would go that far up, publicly, that GWB would need to exercise his authority.

On Sunday, October 19, 2003, as the round-the-clock vigil continues
for Terri Schindler-Schiavo, protesters have arranged a
demonstration to show their dismay at Florida's Governor Jeb Bush.
Volunteers for the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation have learned
that a group of Republican demonstrators are planning to shred their
voter registration cards and officially change their party
affiliations in order to call attention to the Governor's refusal to
intervene on behalf of Terri Schindler-Schiavo.
Governor Bush has received more than 130,000 petitions to intervene
on behalf of the disabled Pinellas County woman since July of this
year. He has been instructed by 7 distinguished legal experts that,
not only does he have the authority to act, but that he also has an
obligation to take action.
Mr. Bush, during his Gubernatorial race in Florida, called himself
a "Champion of the disabled".
On other fronts, Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski, who has been Terri's
spiritual provider for over 3 years, was told he may not administer
to her the sacrament of Holy Communion. Monsignor was informed by
police at Hospice that he would be arrested if he tried to
administer the Catholic woman the sacrament.
In a statement to the press, Michael Schiavo's attorney, George
Felos stated that the reason for this was that he didn't
want "anyone to do something that would cause Terri distress".
Demonstrators will be convening at Hospice Woodside at 10.00am on
Sunday. At that time, there will also be Sunday Worship in Terri's
name.

Judge George Greer not legally a Judge in his current capacity
"Also, Judge Greer did not qualify to be on the 1998 ballot because he did not "qualify" in the statutorily prescribed 5 day period. Nor did he file his FS876.05 Oath to the laws and constitution according to it's nonexistence according to the records of where it should have been filed. Pursuant to FS876.05 (2) he has never qualified to receive compensation by his employer. Further, the county is required on behalf of the People to judicially seek the recovery of all the statutorially prohibited compensation he has already mistakenly, even criminally, received.

Terri is dehydrating right now while Jeb stumps for his brother George
I went to the vigil yesterday outside the Hospice Woodside. I think I posted an address before and it was wrong so I myself got lost but I finally found it with the help of Fay and some helpful citizens (Hospice Woodside is located at 6774 102nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park, FL and is just west of 66th Street North). Terri's family was there as well as more than 50 people. I met with others who have been active in getting awareness of Terri's plight, etc. There were signs for Terri and even candle vigils and a picture of Terri with candles lit. Police were stationed outside in the different areas and supposedly they have attack dogs out back.
I was struck with unbelief that this is actually happening, not that I haven't been before but actually being there outside the building where the Governor is forcing Terri to die because of his inaction was to me hideous to contemplate. Terri is in there and she is being essentially murdered by Jeb! There has been mentioned that this situation smacks of Nazi Germany.. well welcome to Nazi Florida, Nazi USA.
Everyone knows (or should know) the facts of the case that Michael is a criminal for his intents, made clear through actions and words, etc.
Everyone knows (or should know) that Felos is corrupt (oh I forgot he is an attorney so he is beyond breaking the laws.. yeah right!) and that Terri never said: "No Tubes for me" (see the court records that she never said this and that Felos continually lies about this in the State and Federal Courts and in the media).
Everyone knows (or should know) that Judge Greer’s actions smack of impropriety and illegality.
Everyone knows (or should know) that the 2nd DCA is a waste heap of judges who at the time of their ruling were in the deepest of evil in their rulings, etc.
Everyone knows (or should know) that the Florida Supreme Court was remiss in their duties to save an innocent disabled woman from a criminal death dealing husband/attorney and all the previous mentioned being guilty of the same crime. (See the state court transcripts and Federal court transcripts for all of the previous, it's all there).
Everyone knows (or should know) that Jeb in his capacity of Governor of Florida in this particular case has the power to use his Executive power to stop this and that it is not a question of "Separation of Powers" that not only Attorneys whom he asked for advice from (Thomas More Law Center, etc.) gave him the information that stated that it went beyond "Separation of Powers" and that he has a duty and obligation to stop Terri from being executed. (The governor of Florida is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer and has every authority to put on hold the execution of a court order (especially an execution order) that has an irreversible outcome if finished then found to be unauthorized. THAT is his authority).
Everyone now knows (or should know) that Jeb will be complicit in murder of an innocent disabled woman.
Right now Jeb and all the previous mentioned are guilty of torture, attempted murder (the job is almost done), terrorist actions via forced dehydration(!) and starvation(!) of an innocent disabled woman. If this doesn't smack of the highest of criminal negligence, impropriety, malfeasance on their parts then I don't know what does.
I don't know what it would take to wake up Americans that this is happening. Apparently everyone goes about their daily lives in total ignorance. Some of the media have been a help but in the mainstream most of the media is for sensationalism and misuse of the science of semantics, etc. and they are remiss in the duties to keep a populace informed.
You can keep praying and sending healing energies to Terri, etc. as this is indeed an energy world so please do not stop in these actions, but I would beseech you to do anything and everything in your physical powers to get the word out about what is happening at this very time.
I suggested to Fay to go out on overpasses with created banners and hang them up just like during election days, etc. and give a message to Jeb in it and also put
http://terrisfight.org, etc. I'll leave the rest to your imaginations, only creative and concerted efforts to get the masses attention to this matter (right now!) will have the possible effect to turn the tide of what is happening to Terri right now.
Jeb needs to act and he needs to act quick or be complicit as above stated in the murder of Terri Schindler Schiavo.

2) Why has Terri's spouse ordered that Terri not be given normal rehabilitation that would be afforded most persons in her situation?
3) Why is Michael Schiavo still allowed to be Terri's legal guardian even though he has a domestic partner and 2 children by said partner? Terri briefly did have the service of Richard L. Pearse, Esq., appointed by the court in 1998.,br> Attorney Pearse was dismissed from the case by the state court on motion by George J. Felos, Esq., the non-party co-conspirator herein, after the former filed a report concluding that Michael Schiavo had an irreconcilable conflict of interest due to Schiavo's relationship with another woman, his financial stake in Terri's death, and the fact that he tried to let Terri die of a urinary tract infection in 1993.
4) Why has Terri been kept in a Hospice for since March or April 2000, when Hospice' is meant for terminally ill patients, not disabled persons who can be rehabilitated.
5) Why is Medicaid paying for Terri, someone who is not certified Terminally Ill to be kept in a hospice? When her husband drives a recent model Mercedes, owns a home with a pool, has an insurance corporation, and earns good income?
6) Why isn't Michael Schiavo paying the hospice bill if he is Terri's husband? He has income and assets, or is he hiding his assets with his in-active insurance company that has its office at his residence?
7) Shouldn't Michael Schiavo return the malpractice funds that were to be used for Terri's rehabilitation? Surely the mal-practice award was not intended to be used as a vehicle to have Terri's life ended.
8) Why isn't the media allowed to see Terri in her room at the Hospice?
9) Why is the Suncoast Hospice allowed to even be open, when it has 3 lawsuits against it for various misappropriations of patients funds and donations, and for sexual harassment? Isn't it misappropriating the governments funds now, by billing Medicaid for a non-terminal patient?
10) Why is Suncoast Hospice allowed to knowingly employ convicted embezzlers in its financial department? One said embezzler had just been released from prison.
11) Why is Judge Greer allowed to preside over this case when it is clear that he has conflicts of interest, such as having served on the board of hospice (with big salary), as has Michael Schiavo's attorney, Felos? (Felos served as Chairman of Hospice Board). It would seem to me that those very ties to a board overseeing a Hospice that is rife with improprieties would be a red flag.
12) Why has Judge Greer banned Terri's parents from videotaping her, tape recording her, and photographing her? Is this so that he can preserve the false image that Terri is in a coma or in a vegetative state??? This is important evidence that Terri is not in a persistent vegetative state and is responsive to her family and friends. This includes evidence that Terri can get out a few words, and that she WANTS TO LIVE! video. Since when was a judge supposed to suppress the truth?
13) Why is Michael Schiavo's word taken that Terri would not want to be kept alive with artificial means, when her own family and friends never heard her to say such things. Since when was hearsay enough to take the place of a living will? Especially since Michael Schiavo has contradicted himself greatly by suing for rehabilitative funds for Terri and then not using them to do so? His veracity is dubious at best.
14) Why isn't Michael Schiavo being investigated for being the possible cause of Terri's collapse, since medical records (later discovered) have come to light that Terri's initial injuries suggest strangulation? R/E bone scan.
15) Why isn't Terri given the option of refusing rehabilitation, and the option to refuse food herself?
16) Why has Michael Schiavo ordered an immediate cremation of Terri Schiavo's body once she dies?
17) Why doesn’t the State prevent that and order an immediate autopsy of Terri's body, or better yet, prevent her death so as to not need one?

telling them to single-mindedly focus on his brother's re-election
instead of the 2006 horse race for governor.
Bush, who is in charge of his brother's re-election campaign in
Florida, acknowledged "the enormous pressure" on party loyalists to
commit early on candidates to replace him. "Our focus will have to be
on one thing and one thing only - re-electing the Bush-Cheney ticket
in whatever form that takes," Bush said in an e-mail obtained by The
Miami Herald.
"None of us would like to see a repeat of what happened to George in
2000," Jeb Bush wrote in a shorthand reference to Florida's election
meltdown.
"I believe very strongly that as Florida becomes an increasing target
for the Democrats and their national financial resources, it will
take each and every one of us to make sure that my brother has all
the financial resources he will need to win."
Geoffrey Becker, executive director of the Florida Republican Party,
and Scott Maddox, chairman of the state's Democratic Party, both said
Saturday that they see the message as an acknowledgment of a tough
fight in a tossup state next year.
It was just sort of friendly reminder that we have a big job ahead of
us," Becker said. "It's just important for everyone to keep the
attention on the race at hand."
Maddox said, "I think they know they're in trouble, and for the
governor to be willing to put it in writing is actually astounding.
"They're going to have to pull out all the stops. That's what that e-
mail is all about," he said. Bush "is right to think that he's going
to need every last dime of special interest money that he is going to
squeeze from people for the president's re-election."
Maddox and Becker also said they were puzzled by Bush's "whatever
form" remark. Becker speculated it was a reference to the form that
the re-election organization will take.
Jeb Bush cannot run again for governor under term limit rules. For
the next governor's race, he wrote, "It would mean a great deal to me
personally if you would agree not to commit to a candidate until we
can finish the 2004 presidential cycle."
Likely Republican contenders for governor include Attorney General
Charlie Crist, Florida's Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher, Lt.

Rumours have been flying aroun the internet and people are getting things mixed up. This summary on one page seems to be the most accurate.
"Judge George Greer: Ruler of the Kangaroo Court set on killing Terri Schiavo. Impartial? Not in the least! Worked side by side as county commissioner with Barbara Sheen Todd (county commissioner) for eight YEARS. Barbara Sheen Todd is on the board of the hospice. Also, Judge Greer's fellow judge, Judge John Lenderman is the brother of Martha Lenderman (also on the hospice board! See the Hospice Board members! Greer accepted as the basis of his rulings, the questionable testimony of Michael Schiavo (and his family) that Terri would wish to be killed, yet Michael never stated that before he got about a Million Dollars to care for Terri forever. Greer also accepted as the basis of his rulings, the "opinion" of a third doctor who just happens to be the brother of a close associate of George Felos, right-to-kill attorney, and very significantly, former CHAIRMAN of the hospice board! If there ever was a rigged court, Judge Greer's is it!"

Ok. Sorry. Yes she is conscious but Jeb needs to do something straightaway as she has gone without food or water since Oct. 18 at 8AM.
Jeb has the duty to uphold the laws of Florida. He has been notified that a murder is taking place in his state on his watch, to a defensless diabled person. She is being starved and dehydrated against her will, upon the false testimony that she is brain dead and wants to die. She is not either.

People needed at Hospice Woodside, and also in Wash. DC. at the Whitehouse at 3PM
First off, I do not support nor want this woman to be starved to death. If you read everything i've said, you would know even though I might lean towards letting her pass, I would never condone starving someone to death. The other thing is this woman has been like this for 5 or 10 years hasn't she? I'm glad that you got over your ordeal as fast as you did and even though you may have had a semi-similar experience, it definately is/was not the same.
I think that this is something that all of us would hope to avoid, please understand I meant no malice towards you or Terri, it was simply my opinion.
