Is adultery a crime in Florida?? What are the laws regarding common law marriage?? Can he be labeled a bygamist?? Ok, I know, I am grasping........
To the psycho who's been harassing me in freepmail -- I warned you to stop, and you keep sending me your harassing garbage.
You have been reported.
I warned you, but you obviously disregared my warning.
I won't name you now, it's not the season for that. But keep it up, and I will.

Excuse my ignorance, but WHAT was
done on her behalf that could be
called a "fight"? Or do you just
mean FReepers trying to help?
IMO, she needs an appointed
guardian to determine her state
of being. She has no due process
as it is. The facts are in huge
dispute. Until proven, her life
should continue. Parents vs. her
hubby? A single judge?
What an unspeakably bad process.

The parents DID try to take guardianship away from the husband. The courts refused. Maybe Bush cannot, I don't know. I am so weary I am starting to not make sense.!!!!

I will never forgive Jeb Bush for letting this disabled vulnerable woman die.Your anger is misplaced, Teddy. Lashing out at Jeb may feel good, but there is nothing he can do, all the "storm the doors" legal advice notwithstanding.

A single judge You are SO RIGHT. My husband and I were foster parents for over 30 years for LA County Family and Children's services. ALL OUR FOSTER CHILDREN have their OWN SEPERATE attorneys and guardians that speak ONLY on their behalf.

Your anger is misplaced, Teddy. Lashing out at Jeb may feel good, but there is nothing he can do, all the "storm the doors" legal advice notwithstanding This really confuses me. We have 5 seperate legal firms saying " yes". And just by doing a simple read on the disability right laws, one would say that he does have the right to intervene here, as this is CLEARLY being violated. I think that Bush will need to do some explaining just to clarify the issues at hand, to defuse misplaced anger. I KNOW I am ANGRY right now at him.
To: pollywog
He doesn't even have the standing to intervene. A judge threw out his request to give him standing this afternoon.

Thanks for letting us know, regardless. Appreciate it.

This person's constitutional and
basic human rights are being spit
upon. "Laws" that allow THIS to
happen would seem unconstitutional
on their face.
To: sinkspur
Has Congressman Billybob weighed
in on the question of her rights
under the Constitution?

You're late to the game. She had a guardian ad litem. Past tense.
He was fired -- by Judge Roy Bean Greer -- when he had the temerity to say that Loving Hubbie should not have the power over her death, due to his obvious conflict of interest, i.e., shacked up with f-thing on the side, and standing to inherit beaucoup megabux when she dies.
Justice? In a pig's eye.

Yes, adultery is still a crime, and I do not understand why they don't at least pursue criminal charges aginst Schiavo and Jodi Centonze. Do you want me to look up the statute? I will if you want me to.
To: sinkspur
Sez you.
Sorry, pal, but I'll take the Thomas More Legal Center's opinion over yours in a heartbeat.
No offence intended.

Do you have any idea of how silly you sound when you come up with this stuff?

(victim of the Nazis)Is there anything we can learn from this?
When they came for the Catholics?
When they came for the Baptists?
When they came for the fundamentalists?
When they came for the agnostics?
When they came for the physically disabled?
When they came for the mentally disabled?
Just something for all of us to think about -- is this picture larger than we currently see it?

Do you have any idea of how silly you sound when you come up with this stuff? Donnie boy, you've been making a fool of yourself for three days, with your ranting and your threats of anarchy.
And your rudeness.
Go insult somebody else, Donnie boy.

Is there any word on the location and/or safety of "Lord" Schiavo tonight? I bet he is on a real "high" just now as he contemplates his latest victim.
