The ball wasn't within a foot of Ortiz's bat (on replay). It was a makeup call for missing the third strike earlier. I agree... and I'm a Sox fan

Angel Hernandez definitely needs them; that certainly was no foul tip, maybe a swing by Ortiz, but no foul tip...
