I still think Jeter should lead off, if for no other reason than Sori, in the on-deck circle, can see what kind of pitches Burkett is throwing. As it is, he first-pitch swings too often, falling behind immediately or making an immediate out.

There is no Curse of the Bambino. Rather the failure of the Red Sox to win is a blessing from God. That's right. Boston fans are thugs who destroy others' property whenever any Boston sports team wins anything, and that's not even world titles. God is protecting us from the idiots who are fans of the Red Hosers.
