Pitch out gets Boone trying to steal 2nd. Boone thrown out. BoSox up.

I'm at work and reading...I'm so close that I could step outside and hear the game, but I don't know if I would actually want to get anywhere really close to the chaos around Fenway.....
So, yes, work + FR...such a great employee, I know...

Does Varitek have the Yankees signs? Or is he just a smart baseball player?

Man, Pedro vs. Roger, game 7 at Yankee Stadium. Might be the best game 7 pitching matchup of all time. Don't they have 9 Cy Youngs between them? Plus you have a 300+ game winner vs the guy with the lowest ERA over the past several seasons.

You can call the Yankees a lot of things, but you really can't call them losers;^)

This could very well be Wells' last inning, if he even lasts that long.
Contreras will be warming up in the pen shortly.

Does Varitek have the Yankees signs? Or is he just a smart baseball player? Actually, I was in the middle of posting that Boone should run early, since the Yanks are hitting so many ground balls. I figured they'd have a better shot of an infield single if they don't have the easy force at second to end the inning.

Just got back from work. Damn, it's not looking too good for the Sox tonight. Bases loaded with their best hitter at the plate and they couldn't push anything across. If they don't pull out a win tonight, I'm basically writing them off. No way are they going to win two at Yankee Stadium. But I would like to see it pushed to Game 7 just to get that one last Pedro-Clemens matchup.
No offense to Yankee fans, but if the Yankees win this series, I'm rooting for the Cubs. I love seeing the underdog win.

Contreras will be warming up in the pen shortly. The hitters are catching on to Wells. He needs to pitch very carefully.

I think Veritek is most the intelligent player out of the BoSox Starting players.

Don't write off this game yet.
I'll be doing the same thing you are by the way, love to see this series go to the 7th game, and will root for Cubs in a CUbs v. Yanks matchup, if that's the pairing for the World Series.

No offense taken. I never root for the Sox, and I wouldn't expect any Sox fans to root for the Yanks. ....under any circumstances. It's just the natural order of things....

Hey, cowboy down there, partner. Wouldn't it be funny if, instead of playing Sinatra's rendition of "New York, New York" should the Yankees wrap up the series tomorrow, they played "Mama, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys"?

Nice inning for Boomer.

Easy inning for Wells. He may just get another inning yet.

You must fight that typical Red Sox fan pessimism!
