Hey, cowboy down there, partner. Wouldn't it be funny if, instead of playing Sinatra's rendition of "New York, New York" should the Yankees wrap up the series tomorrow, they played "Mama, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys"?

Nice inning for Boomer.

Easy inning for Wells. He may just get another inning yet.

lol.....that would be a gas. ....But they at least have to put The Chairman of the Board on afterwards. ....Tradition and all.

That sounds like something Eddie Layton might play between innings.

Ok, I just have to point out how ridiculous it is that the Sox adopted this 'cowboy up' phrase! It is completely inappropriate...this is coming from someone who is from rural OK and grew up going to rodeos, where the phrase cowboy up got its start.
I would be understanding of a team in a 'cowboy' state adopting the phrase...but not Boston!
As for there being the whole deal with 'illegal' shirts beign sold....I guess there is a man who is claiming that he copyrighted the phrase and that only shirts that he liscenses can be sold with the phrase. I'm sorry, but you can't tell me that this one man (who my husband thinks he heard them say is from MA) is liscencing every single shirt that is sold with this phrase...do they actually know anything about the number of shirts that are sold at home with a scene depicting rodeo and the phrase 'cowboy up' on it?
Sorry...guess I'm getting a bit fired up about this...
