Yeah MLB has the gameday thing up, like ESPN's gamecast only not 1 inning behind the action.

He probably would have if the Red Sox still had the TV in their bullpen, and one his mates would have flashed him the sign. How else do you explain why a bunch of has beens hit 60 pts higher at home then on the road, or better yet broke all of the major league offensive records?

Yankee Stadium was refurbished in 1976 (or 1977)...

It's old. But it's solid.

I get goosebumps everytime I step into that stadium.

My first memory of sports is Yankee Stadium, Bat Day, 1976. I was 5. I haven't been to a game in years since I live in DC now, but I can still smell the pretzel stands.

Go YANKS!

Okay, we really need some hits here. I mean we REALLY need some hits, if you know what I mean.

I've heard theories that they built their lineup to suit the park. I'd imagine that would mean hitters that can use the Green Monster in left, or the Pesky Pole in right, and possibly that weird triangular area in dead center. I don't have any other theories than that other than the very-hard-to-prove sign-stealing theory.

Well, the Angels won it all last year. And although Anaheim Stadium (now called Edison Field) doesn't come anywhere close to being as old as the three you mentioned, it's still one of the oldest ballparks in MLB. ....1960, if I remember correctly.

I hope Red Sox and Cubbies win the playoffs.

But then I wouldn't know who to root for since I like both teams.

On the other hand, I think this is another sign that Jesus is coming soon.

just kidding . . . . .

. . . . . I think
