To my fellow conservatives:
By now you may have heard that I have endorsed Arnold Schwarzenegger for Governor. I have received a variety of responses to that decision, some good, and some bad. I understand them all, and I believe each of you need to know the reason I made this decision. It was not lightly made, and the result of a lot of discussion, thought and prayer. I take my role as a conservative in the legislature seriously, and my endorsement means something to me. I don't give it away lightly, and I do so only when I believe it promotes the causes in which we all believe. I believe this endorsement is true to those principles.

Didn't find the original URL (found this on Rumormillnews), but for 10 years this was my former State Congressman; recently elected California State Senator. Easily the most conservative besides McClinto.k. In any case - . I know the site is a bit "over the top" on some issues, but is conservative at it's core, so don't prejudge..
Also don't prejudge me for posting as a "new" member. Have been a daily Freeper since 9/11/01 - just haven't registered/posted is all. I serf at work (pun?), and feel that posting would be more of an abuse than the Web surfing itself, which is actually tolerated by my company's owners/management (hi-tech software - keep the customers happy and the $ coming in and who's gonna argue with ya... or fire ya?)
Myself? Ultra-conservative, Orange County, CA born/bred. 41 years old. US Army Pathfinder/Airborne Infantry/Jumpmaster/NBC/Jungle Expert (much time in Panama). Argue all you want - I'm here, LOVE to argue the things I feel deeply about, and won't be going anywhere (me and new cable modem = trouble...)

BTW - This same "crazy" rumormillnews site mentioned a "stealth CA recall election pro-gun candidate" in a very convincing post. Can't be Big_Bust_amonte or Arianna (duh), so I have my hopes..
Bottom line - If Arnold does goes the BAN wagon (or Bush for that matter), welcome the new Dem government with whatever fireworks you think are appropriate.
