Fox is reporting that the black vote all across the south is down from 2000. That's gotta be burning the RATs. They maxed out last election, with nowhere to go but down.
To: AdA$tra
Our state races aren't looking that great, but nationally things are looking pretty good. I'll settle for control of Congress.

That should be good news for the Pubbies

Please interject when appropriate. You know that I have never shied from interjecting - even when INappropriate. That being said, I will tell you and Ad A$tra and everyone else a tale of Kansas. In another life, I had a job where I talked to people all over the country, especially in large cities. One day, some guys in NY City were working on the NY Times crossword puzzle and they called our desk because they could not figure out the clue: state motto of Kansas. The other guy said fsf will know, asked me, and I immediately shot back, "To the stars through difficulty"! I am a font of useless, but interesting, knowledge. Yours in humility, fsf. :o)

Just remember Kansas always counts the urban/liberal votes first. The good guys always come from behind as the heart and soul of the Wheat State are counted.

I am sure shyness has its place, but I have never seen it.
I am often asked if I took my nickname from the Indian on the dome. I have actually used it since the bronze monolith was just a gleam in his sculpter's eye.

I heard on Fox that Talent did well in several St.Louis precincts that are usually the RATs. With their votes counted early, that means it is the outstate areas that will be coming in next. Should be more conservative.
To: axel f
On the local NBC station, they said Shallenburger was leading by 7 points!
To: AdA$tra
Dashhole is on NBC now looking shell shocked. Not a single smile.
To: TroutStalker
I heard that too, but I wonder if they goofed up and meant Sebelius is leading by 7%.
To: axel f
CBS is calling it for Sebelius.

As you have probably figured out I have been watching the MO SOS web site. I sure hope FOX is right, Talent will need a big push from outstate to counteract the "vote" from St. Louis City.
as of 9:05 49.3% to 49.3%
