I haven't... but I came close to doing so this morning. I saw Cates at the election watch party in Topeka last night. I didn't speak with him, but I could tell he wasn't totally happy with the climate.
How about you? Caller?
I agree that payback won't work and isn't productive, but we won't be able to build a coalition without some changes at the top. Those who are state leaders who supported the defection HAVE to go or no coalition will ever be possible.
I liked the tone Doug Mays adopted this morning on Cates' show. I think we need to rally behind calm and reasonable voices like Mays. But, I also don't think it hurts if Cates acts as our local Limbaugh and starts up a hue and cry to dump some of these "leaders" who are short on party loyalty.
Again... she was just as nasty last time. Let's hope she finds something else to do next election. *sigh*
Not on Shallenburger, but she had to pop her little moderate head up to take a very public shot at Kline just a couple of days ago... and look how close that's turning out, in part due to her "help."
I AM sorry. I missed this earlier. I have only one thing to say in reaction to this statement: BWWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHA~! fsf
"No, Bill, you are correct. I don't see any budget emergency, either". Sheesh. Room full of idiots. fsf
With the big ideas these two have, this meeting could be held in a phone booth with room to spare. fsf
