The GOP Is Doing Its Best To Lose The November Election: Why is it behaving this way and what can be done to change this dynamic?
American Thinker ^ | 08/22/2022 | Vince Coyner

Last week, Tucker Carlson showcased the fact that the GOP is doing its best to lose November’s election.

He included a clip of Mitch McConnell admitting that the GOP would likely not take the Senate. McConnell and the rest of the leadership don’t want to win. Carlson rightly suggested that, if Republicans really wanted to win, they’d run on crime and immigration. While the economy is reportedly voters’ number one issue, it’s what goes on in their neighborhoods and on their streets that matters. If Americans don’t feel safe in their homes, walking down their streets, or sitting in drive-thru lines because they’re scared to go into a restaurant or store, nothing else matters…not the economy, abortion, gender rights, or Ukraine.

Republicans don’t care. They’re complaining about Biden’s spending, bemoaning government overreach, and sanctioning Putin. Those issues aren’t going to return the GOP to power, but Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and Ronna McDaniel seem sanguine. Their lives don’t change if the GOP doesn’t take back Congress. They’ll still rule their little fiefdoms, still be invited to Georgetown cocktail parties to be feted by lobbyists and, of course, they’ll still be on Sunday morning shows to feign outrage for the latest Democrat policy.

For these grifters, the only difference between winning and losing in November is having to work for the American people…something they’re loathe to do.

But for the average American, the difference between winning and losing in November is literally life and death, lawlessness, or civil society.

The world wouldn’t change overnight on November 8, but what could happen is that the people who control the purse strings, who are supposed to make the laws, could change—just as in 1994.

And yet they win elections over and over again in their little “fiefdoms”.

Inflation and naked men in girls’ locker rooms are two important issues too. Tucker is right if GOP voters lived in cities. Most do not.

That could be used outside of the cities, though, to turn more people against the Left.

Both parties happily sold out this nation to China for decades and took their cut, they have no intention of changing their course willingly.

When, in the fullness of time, President Trump and the 75 million legitimate voters who supported him in 2020 have been restored to power, let the the risorgimento ensue with extreme prejudice.

We need 34 state legislatures to propose an amendment for Term Limits, and our problems will be solved through attrition. Nothing Congress can do to stop it. I’d love to see Trump champion this idea. Art of the Deal with The People!

I'm just going to repeat myself because that is all this silly fearporn merits.

Every season, starting on Memorial Day, executive suites at ABC/NBC/CBS/MSNBC/CNN/NPR/NYT/WAPOST empty out completely as they abscond to Martha's Whineyard, the Cramptons, Dontgiveatucket, Fire Island, P-Town, Ibiza, Italy -- you name it -- and they won't be back until Labor Day.

Their mandarin underlings are under instructions to simply line up one GOP non-scandal after another until they return.

The fact that Miotch whinged is a nothingburger. He's OLD. He's DONE. Trump took his party from HIM. Miotch groomed Daniel Cameron to be the first black governor of his home state and Cameron repaid Miotch by kissing President Trump's ring! Miotch is a failure! Why do you people whine on and on about Miotch? He has much less power than you think.

Futhermore, the US has Zimbabwe-style INFLATION. 8%! The US is going to have a successive 3rd quarter of GDP contraction JUST IN TIME for the election. The Democrats are going to get painted red and rode out on a rail in November.

Let's stop this. Let's stop posting fearporn.

1. its the economy that will get GOP elected
2. Plus, the “governmental overreach” cited in the article (arming IRS instead of, say, disbanding it)

the American people want prosperity/jobs and they want to live free with liberties as envisioned in the US Constitution.

there are a hundred additional issues that will help the GOP but these two will get them elected. If they’re smart enough to tell which way the wind blows, that is

We have this idea that ‘our’ party is fighting for the Republic. Small Government etc. Why do we think this? Partly because they tell us this at election time.

It’s a show. Our Government is massive due to both parties. The Republic we love is history.

Our politicians have used the weaknesses in our system to have great jobs, earn a lot of money and be famous.

Looking back on my voting history.....It’s so sad. I lived in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Voted for McConnell, Portman, Young, Pence, Romney both Bushes. And....somehow I’m supposed to believe the next one who wants the job? They all fooled me.

I didn’t call Walker and Oz scum. They may have issues, but they are what we have at this time and they take heat because they are being demonized by RATs and people in their own party like you.

Ask a RAT, scum is okay as long as it it wins and puts the House or Senate in their hands.

Our candidates are in a fighting mood! This gives them more motivation and ammunition to get out there and campaign like there is no end in sight. The GOP establishment got to go. We won’t be fooled this time around!! In 2020 we lost the Senate because of McConnell we won’t lose it this time! ...We won’t fall for his little tricks no more.

I have some experience in this regard too: Dems routinely pull donation lists and then harass large donors by doxing them and siccing the rent-a-mob Antifa like clowns to protest on their lawns/business places. This has scared the larger (small-medium business for example) from contributing anything. This then has a trickle down effect on the micro-donors who want to help, but don't want the rent-a-mob problem. We are working to convince donors that the risks are low, but the damage has been done and we can't get any money in. Couple that with the rigid laws governing 501-c3 or 501-c4 orgs and how they can allocate/spend money and you then get the Dem friendly lawyers all up your case when you channel donations through the charitable orgs to political causes. The Dem machine is so effective that we are literally at a standstill.

Nobody has the charisma and the vision Trump had -- nobody can command the attention that Trump did -- and the party leaders don't want to run on Trump's issues.

The big problem, though, is what it was last time (apart from COVID and fraud): Trump hatred is stronger than Trump support. Affluent upper middle class suburban types who always vote hate Trump. Other parts of the country kind of like him, but not enough to go out and vote.

The Establishment Republicans are like the Washington Generals to the Harlem Globetrotters.

They are players in the game. Their role to to pretend to oppose the Democrats. That’s what their donors want from them. They know that if they actually oppose the Democrats, their big donors will walk away.

This trans garbage is happening across the country. It is a mistake to avoid it & inflation, but Tucker has his schtick that ignores the two newest outrages of the last few years.
