Mitch McConnell Won’t Fight To Impeach Biden – Says He ‘Is Not Going To Be Removed From Office’

On Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that he and his party would not fight to impeach President Joe Biden and said Republicans should focus more on the midterm election.

McConnell argued that it’s better to wait and vote – and that impeachment won’t happen because Democrats are in charge.

“Well, look, the president is not going to be removed from office,” McConnell said at a Kentucky event. “There’s a Democratic House, a narrowly Democratic Senate. That’s not going to happen.”

Impeaching him won’t solve anything, unfortunately. Whether he is impeached or resigns, you can bet we’ll just get something worse.

It’s remotely possible that Biden could be impeached if there is a good swing in the makeup of the House for 2023, but there is ZERO possibility of an impeachment conviction.

“I’m no Mitch fan, not at all. But I do know how to add. The votes aren’t there. If we try to impeach now and fail it kills our credibility and the possibility of impeaching him after the 2022 mid terms, if we get the numbers.”

Mitch has lost his political acumen.

What he should have said was: “This president needs to be impeached and removed from office but his corrupt administration is being protected by corrupt democrats in office. The good guys don’t have the votes to win - yet.”

Elect Republicans! Something like that.

Turtle goes beyond the obvious Senate vote counts to signal his assurance that no one will be successful regarding impeachment concerning Biden's Afghan withdrawal, favors for foreigners, drug-laden pay-offs, any 25th Amendment action surrounding dementia or incompetence, and Mitch will do everything in his power to assure Trump will not be successful regarding election fraud, the China flu or the plandemic coup.

McConnell has gone over the top to assure that nothing will rise from his or Ms. Chao's quarter to protect or defend the US Constitution against any of its enemies.

Tell me where McConnell is going to get 67 votes to convict in the Senate.

It's about the symbolism.

Even if McConnell can't get 67 votes in the Senate, he can still encourage Republicans in the House to push for it.

It's insane to let the Democrats cry "impeachment" every time President Trump sneezed, and then have Republicans cower from doing the same in return.

The trap for Republicans is that Democrats know they can be abusive first and get away with it, because Republicans will reject "whataboutism," and insist on taking the high road in contrast, essentially giving the Democrats a free "kick me" every time.

Nothing will change unless Democrats feel the blowback. Democrats get away with free kick-me against Republicans; they get to do the crime to advance their agenda and the Republicans are forced by their "leadership" to stay on the high road.

Well, how is McConnell supposed to control the House of Representatives? He’s correct, the votes aren’t there in the House to impeach Biden. If Republicans take back the House in Nov. 2022, it will be mid or late 2023 before they could possibly bring up impeachment in the House.

The votes aren’t there in the Senate to convict either.

As it stands now, no possibility that Biden will ever be removed via Impeachment.

“Tell me where McConnell is going to get 67 votes to convict in the Senate.”

You illustrate the difference between successful democrats and corrupt apathetic Republican elites.

Before he was even sworn in the democrats then in the minority started the impeach Trump movement.

They kept hammering away, even using it as a rallying cry to harvest votes, Eventually, and quickly, they gained the majority and arried out their impeachment goal - twice.

The Republicans need to, but never will, learn from that.
But they won’t. They got McConnell and Ryan acolyte McCarthy who if they get the majority will fall into the do-nothing Republican mode of old, talking big and accomplishing little.

Biden will be president till the day he dies or Kamala has her coup.

Quote
The report card you get is every two years,” McConnell said. “I think the way these behaviors get adjusted in this country is at the ballot box.”

Somebody fill McConnell in.
The ballot box is corrupted.

The ammo box is the last box option.

There actually may be wisdom in that.

Do not interrupt your enemy when he is busy destroying himself.

Biden will do more damage to the Democrat party than anything the right could do (short of executing them for treason), and he also realizes who’s in line of succession if biden is impeached.

You can’t have the cure worse than the disease.

Let the dems self-destruct and then come in and clean up later.

Now, the problem is getting the Republicans, supposedly the right, to do the right thing.
