The sheriff said he would be attending a workshop called "Undoing Racism" along with other members of the department. This could very well be conducted by an outfit with the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond, which conducts "Undoing Racism" workshops around the country. I I haven't yet found out who's behind this outfit, but the name sure sounds Marxiat-Leninist.

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) provides a PDF copy of one of their syllabi here. If you read it, you can see that it presents a view of race relations from left field.

More than twice as many killed, by a population less that 1/5 the size. Doing the math: Blacks kill whites at a per-capita rate 12 times the reverse.

And these are the numbers where the race of victim and offender are known. The ratio is likely even higher than 12:1.
