I’ve done plenty of thinking. The audience for debates is the already decided. Undecideds find them (rightly) boring and don’t watch. They’re dog and pony shows, they’re boring, they’re stupid, they’re a waste of time.
Only to people already decided. These things mean nothing.

Start those ads now using the NYT article as evidence that the Democrats are afraid to let “Senile Joe” out in public where the American people can see him for what he is.

Why Barack Obama literally walked on water and parted oceans with his stately rhetoric, according to the Slimes. Al Gore was dignified and commanding. Why Bill Clinton was the smartest man on earth and super cool as well!
Suddenly, now that they are stuck with a total drooling imbecile for a candidate, these debates are now a poor test for presidential leadership!
Yes, this is the new talking point. Along with we need to vote by mail because it is not safe to vote in person with covid.
A friend of mine is a Democrat. She is very outspoken. She posted on her Facebook page the Ten Reason why we should vote by mail this year. I replied to her list #11)Easier to Cheat. I got a couple Likes. I also got another person who questioned me about this. I explained to her that in person voting allows for someone to check my ID and cross my name off of the registration list. I also explained that ballots would get lost in the mail. She then replied that Trump would just figure out some way to cheat. She could not be reasoned with. She had Trump Derangement.

It goes along with keeping all the schools closed because we all need to stay safe. BS, it is about keeping a lid on the economy. At least until after the election.

He can handle the debates if he is shot up with drugs or whatever they did to him in the last debate. In the last debate against Bernie he did well. I don’t buy the narrative that he cannot debate.
