Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) suggested that “white privilege” played a role in the Justice Department’s (DOJ) decision to drop the criminal case of former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
The DOJ announced Thursday it was dropping the case after the emergence of information over the past few weeks that indicated foul play by the FBI to get Flynn to lie during a January 2017 interview as part of then Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia probe.

General Michael Flynn is an honorable man, who had tangled with the Obama regime before he was summarily sacked from his job. The Obama administration fired Flynn in 2014 from his position as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. The claim was “mismanagement”, but General Flynn was starting to find where the bodies were buried, and this put a HUGE panic in the Obama team.
Then when he was signed on to the Trump team, all these stories began, with the intent of removing General Flynn BEFORE he could do much damage, but in retrospect, the move was clumsy on so many levels. The Deep State tried to tie Trump into some phony “collusion” charge, and they used the persecution of General Flynn as their wedge issue, dredging up some story abut improper contact with Russian officials, and putting the worst possible spin on the assembled snippets of fact they could glean from gossip and innuendo.
The chickens are not merely coming home to roost. They are on a screaming steep dive with blood in their eyes, claws and beaks forward like a flock of raptors.
This will not be pretty. But it is almost certain to take the minds of people off the corona virus.
