Judging from the response on this thread and a similar thread running concurrently, your objection is not only in the minority, you might be alone. So your objection is noted and shelved :)

Unfortunately, judging by the Democrat 7 point popular vote margin, and winning up to 40 house seats, we are facing challenging political headwinds. Imagining that most, or even alot, of Americans are like us on FR is myopia. I do not like our country losing and this is prime time for President Trump. We cannot afford unforced errors. None of us really know what is going on behind closed doors in the White House. It has been almost 2 years and no indictments of consequence despite Clinton, FBI, Awan, etc. corruption. Mueller is still running an investigation destroying many in his path. Our nation needs the truth, and needs to reconcile around the truth, not playground taunts and names.

If you aren’t happy with Trump I understand Kasich is looking for help in a primary bid. Maybe he’ll hook up with Ryan and really give the “get alongs” among us a choice.
