One of the most mystifying aspects of the 2016 election has been the short-term elevation of Hillary Clinton. She somehow went from being the “most qualified presidential candidate in history” to a spiritual figure, a person with a mystical presence. She walks the woods. She grants or denies absolution. When she speaks, grown women weep.
Or at least they did yesterday. Today, things changed.
Remember Donna Brazile? She’s the former CNN contributor and interim chairman of the Democratic National Committee. She last dominated the headlines in October of 2016, when a leaked email revealed she’d fed CNN debate questions to Hillary’s campaign in March of that year. (She took the job as interim DNC chairwoman, which she’d briefly held in 2011 as well, in July.) CNN forced her to resign as a contributor, but before the election Brazile was anything but apologetic. Here’s her comment on November 7, 2016 — the day before Hillary’s loss.....

Exactly what I thought. She either didn’t fall at all, or she did fall, but the fall was just an excuse for her to hide out. She was saying really wacky things on that tour, such as, “We have a President who is an admitted sexual abuser.” Huh?! When the devil has Donald Trump ever admitted to having sexually abused anyone. I believe somebody called HRC and told her to stay off the bloody stage for a few days.
It is the nature of the Democrat party to protect you until they cannot protect you anymore. Then they turn on you just as forcefully.
I don’t think the dems are turning on Hillary, I think she has been asked to “retire” and get off the stage...
She is stopping them from moving whatever agenda they have for the midterms.
Since she is extremely arrogant, and refuse to go out gracefully they are forcing her out
She’s potentially worked herself into a mental breakdown from stress and anxiety. Toss in bad health, alcohol, drugs, and people that really truly want to kill her.....and you might very well see her blue and bloated corpse in a black pantsuit very, very, very soon.

Doug Schoen. Hannity keeps bugging him to come over from the dark side and leave the Dem party. During the campaign he disavowed Hillary; can’t recall why. Decent guy.
This, recall, is the "most qualified candidate in history", meaning that the occupancy of an office is more important to her adherents than incompetent performance in that office or even corruption of that office for personal gain. This is a cult of personality rather than performance.
It is one thing to be an advocate for one's base, quite another to extend that to active malevolence toward everyone else. That in a nutshell was and remains Hillary's real problem. Nursed grievances eventually eat the resentful from the inside out. What results is the hollow, hate-filled wreck of a human being we see before us. What she would have been like in power is easy to see because it was what she was like in power.

We at FR have waited for this moment for a very long time. Hillary has had thoughts of coming back in 2020. That ended today. She can never again control the DNC. Ding dong the witch is dead. Finally.
I read an article about a week ago, don’t remember details and doesn’t matter, but it was in the Washington Post and I sensed then that, Wow, they have decided to cut the Clintons loose. This is YUGE.
Makes me think of the Barbara Olsen book about Hilary. There’s gonna be Hell to Pay.
