As it became clear that Donald Trump would become the next leader of the free world, Hillary Clinton called President Obama and apologized.
"Mr. President, I'm sorry," Clinton told the sitting commander in chief as her unexpected election loss became reality, according to a Washington Post review of a new book about the Democratic presidential candidate's failed 2016 campaign.
Just minutes before that somber apology, Clinton had made another regretful phone call to the man who once labeled her a "nasty woman."
"Congratulations, Donald," Clinton told her opponent, according to the book, "Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign."
The book, set to be released on Tuesday, also recounts how Obama urged Clinton to admit defeat shortly after it became clear that Trump had won Wisconsin around 11 p.m.
"You need to concede," Obama apparently told his former secretary of state over the phone.
"Shattered" goes into great detail about the chaos that enveloped at Clinton's Brooklyn headquarters on the night of Nov. 8. It also spotlights character traits of several campaign officials, including manager Robby Mook and chairman John Podesta.
But, according to the Post, the book conspicuously leaves out details about Russia's role in the election and whether cyber hacks ordered by the Kremlin had anything to do with Clinton's loss.
The U.S. intelligence community has concluded that Russia launched an extensive cyber campaign to help Trump win the White House. Congress is currently investigating whether Trump campaign officials colluded with the Russians.
Different link says that Obama had to force hildabest to concede.
Another work of fiction I see.
I don’t believe a word of it.
It is hard to believe that the psychopath had the gumption to talk to T that night.
I didn’t believe that either.
She would NEVER say “Mr. President”. Total CRAP.
Never said I believed it - just flavor of the day why she lost.
If will make her feel better and STFU- she did not lose, she was beaten like a baby seal by team Trump
Horse hockey. The woman never apologized for anything in her life.
I imagine her phone call to Obama was to see if he can pull a fast one for her.
If anything, she should have apologized for running in the first place. Biden might have been able to win - he may be dumb but he’s not dumb enough to put an email server in his basement crapper.
Plenty, apparently, because she never actually conceded. She had someone else do it.
But.... she needed to keep the server near running water and some towels so she could wipe after use.
Older, wobbly woman carrying excess baggage who didnt pound the campaign trail is not an attractive candidate for one of the toughest job on the planet. Sorry Hillary. The only people who wanted to vote for you were dead or obsessive democrats only or women trying to vicariously prove their own worth. These are not good voting blocs. You thought you would be headline star cuz you showed up and manicured your optics. No way is that gonna work nowadays....maybe 1960...
She was apologizing for her miserable staff.
Another apropos Stones tune.
Biden thinks a “server” is someone in a white coat bringing him a cold one.
He should have sent her a pistol and one bullet.
Such bull sh**.
MORE FAIRY TALES BY HILLARY AND HUSSEIN...should be the title...because that is what it is...the Author and Authoress, are both living in denial and FAKE NEWS STORIES. just trying to make both LIARS look good in their eyes only...
So many different tales of this election and they sure make us laugh..entertaining for certain..nothing more...
NOTE TO HILLARY ‘GRANNY BENGHAZI’ CLINTON...IS JUST ONE MORE REASON SHE LOST...SHE AND B.HUSSEIN OBAMA HAVE THE BLOOD OF BENGHAZI ON THEIR HANDS.
As for hubby Bill, he will forever be known as an ‘accused rapist’ and he didn’t help the election at all...
