Former Vice President Walter Mondale is endorsing Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison to become the next Democratic National Committee chair.
The move gives the two top contenders to helm the party -- Ellison and former Labor Secretary Tom Perez -- one vice presidential endorsement each, after Joe Biden backed Perez earlier this week.
It comes as Democrats head to Detroit for their third of four "future forums" Saturday, where candidates for party leadership lay out their visions, before the DNC's 447 voting members select their new chair in a late-February meeting in Atlanta.
"Keith was a Minnesota star in the state legislature and now in the US House. Keith believes that we need to help all Americans succeed, and this message of inclusiveness is one that has resonated with people in the 5th Congressional District in Minnesota, who have re-elected Keith five times and who have turned out to vote in increasing numbers ever since Keith took office," Mondale said in a statement....

He came within 3000 Minnesota votes of losing 50 to Reagan in 1984 and finally completed the cycle when he served as a stand-in substitute to Paul Wellstone in an unsuccessful attempt to save the U.S. Senate seat for a dead man.

Me and the other charter member of the high school young republicans club went to the Ferraro rally at the Tacoma Dome and actually got interviewed by some wanabee news anchor lady.
So I have been working for the cause before I knew how to tie a half windsor folks....dad handed me the encyclopedia and said look up windsor knots my son and afterwards I was stickin it to libs as a pimple faced teenager.

NJ has the same problem; there were enough taxpaying Americans to elect Christie twice but it is a shrinking number (that is why libs want the whole state to serve as a sanctuary). I think we’ll soon be a one-party state like California, without even white libs (they are NIMBY types who won’t tolerate minorities in their neighborhoods).
Frankly, paying for all these freebies is driving out our productive class and their employers.
