For a clearer understanding of the context, sort of like reading your Bible (sorry for the analogy). One needs to as carefully attend to the adjacent text. I wonder just what encouragement from Bush Trump had to be candid BEFORE the tape we are given.

Good analysis
The DC political class has always sunk republicans by outing the sex scandal. Democrats stand and say yeah I did that so what it’s just about sex (Billy Jeff, Barney Frank, etc).
About time one of ours stood and fought.
With all that we face this lick room language is the least of my worries. In fact it may even get him some votes

It failed. The coup failed for the obvious reason that Trump has already survived several kitchen sinks and this is just one more I think its a riot how every weapon formed against him seems to get deflected right back at them!
Trump and team are smart enough and quick enough.
'Think of Trump as surrounded by an invisible shield of REACTIVE ARMOUR.
Anything thrown at him is returned with 10 times force.
From the "Art of the Deal" paper back edition page 185 published in 1987: Comes Trump with (2016 - 1987) = 29 years experience since...and how many great deals he has negotiated since 1987?.
Trump will demolish Hillary and her "moderators" in short order.

Personally, I would think that crude gutter talk would be less damaging than finding out that Trump was pandering to Democrats in 2005 and that the Bill and Hill came to his wedding.

"This was a cuck/Romney/GOPe/nevertTrump hit from the get-go."
I think it was done in direct coordination, but the Bush-Romney's were to take the lead on the execution.
The hit was called in by Hillary because of the WikiLeaks drop as a panic move. This story was meant for Oct 31st.
No one would drop this on a Friday in the first week of October (in the middle of a major hurricane), leaving dozens of news cycles to bury it nor leave Trump with plenty of room, and tons of ammo, to counter-attack.
Hillary wanted a hail-Mary distraction more than a kill-shot. She knows that no one will be swayed in terms of votes one way or the other. It's just to make noise and distract. This will illustrate what they were going for.

These politicans still do not understand this simple concept. People are voting for Trump to vote against establishment republicans just as much as they are Hillary. They continue to expose themselves without anticipating the fallout of this election cycle. The game has changed before their eyes and they are blind to it. Their reactions are a predictable comedy of errors.

The Cheap Labor Express stooges are the only ones feigning offense. They were never on board the Trump train to begin with. Even if they were faking like they were. (Cruz)
They have been working against the citizens keeping their country and the rule of law for years. (Bush, all of them)
We have one more election before we lose our country permanently.

I agree, they had to use this and sooner than they wanted.
I think Wikileaks reveling the Gun Control, Bank Incest and Open Borders E-Mails and Speeches forced their hand too.
So Mook and the boys were like "That is why we released Trump's Audio, to change the subject and change it fast. Because if we didn't THIS could be campaign ending."

Trump should say ...."Yes, I used to be a skank and say skanky things, and I WAS a Democrat, but my wife has been a HUGE POSITIVE change in my life....I'm now a Pro-Life Republican and a much better Christian thanks to my wonderful wife, Melania" Give Melania credit.....every woman wants to be able to change their husbands just a little.
All anyone else needs to say...:He was a Democrat back then".

Since today seems to be the day for everyone to post their vanities about what to do next, I'm instead going to reply to yours.
It's time for Trump to call a press conference.
- Start the conference with a variation on the statement he has already made: I've never pretended to be a perfect person. I've made mistakes and said things I shouldn't have said. I apologize for those that have been offended and I strive to do better.
- However, if you choose to judge me by such an exacting standard, then there are a few things you should know about my opponent. I would like to introduce a few ladies:
- Kathy Shelton
- Juanita Broaderick
- Paula Jones
- Kathleen Willey
Let each woman make a statement, in their own words.
- Trump can then the press conference with a simple statement: I've said impolite things about women. But, these ladies are just a few of the many women that have actually been victims of sexual assault or harassment, and my opponent has been complicit in their victimization.

This was a cuck/Romney/GOPe/nevertTrump hit from the get-go. Personally, I think it was a Bush/Romney collusion. It nearly worked, and I am now quite in awe of Ann Coulter and Mike Cernovich who predicted a variation of this some time ago.
Brilliant analysis, thanks.
