A poll of likely Republican voters shows House Speaker Paul Ryan well below 50 percent in his race to maintain his seat in Wisconsins first Congressional district. The poll was conducted by P.M.I., with 424 respondents randomly called from a file of 11,000 likely GOP primary voters. It shows that with one month remaining before Wisconsins August 9th vote, Ryan is polling at 43 percent. Ryans challenger, Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, is polling at 32 percent.
The Nehlen campaign notes that Ryans 43 percent represents a drop of more than 30 points since the Nehlen campaign began polling likely Republican primary voters earlier in the year.
This poll shows voters are considering their options and choosing to opt out of Paul Ryans job-killing policies, Nehlen said.

All these professional politicians are too clever by half. They think we can’t see right through them.
Is this an internal? Please tell me it’s not, that it’s real.
Trump endorsement in 3...2...1
Why is Paul Nehlen only at 32 percent?
Thanks be to God that Ryan is at least not sailing to a sure election, now.
I was up there today, and the only signs seen were for Nehlen.
Ryan has proven himself unworthy for my tastes.
How about his animosity toward Donald Trump?
How about his past support for amnesty for illegal aliens?
How about kicking the can down the road in regard to the budget bill by supporting yet another continuing resolution?
Do I need to go on?
READ THE DANGED ARTICLE.
The difference is there, chapter and verse.
Good he can retire and spend more time with his lovely family.
Okay, get serious -- the ONLY reason this happened is, he represents an old-time stubbornly stupid liberal state, and now a big chunk of his support which was willing to live with him got p***ed off about his post-indictment fiasco, where he said, Hillary shouldn't have a security clearance. Literally nothing else is going on here.
WOW! I never thought.
Now is the time to donate to Nehlen and give him a big boost. When a trend shows up within a month of an election, it is not good for the punk Ryan.
Because all people are doing is posting pics of cute dump trucks, waiting for superman Trump to fly in and rescue WI as well.
I hop this lying, cowardly, treasonous big eared monkey with a ugly looking widow’s peak is DESTROYED in the primary.
Trump needs to give Ryan the kind of support he gave Trump.
Ryan has proven himself unworthy [full stop].
Damn! Ryan is so ugly he looks exactly like a Lemur!
Andy, I keep forgetting to limit my responses to 140 characters. Good catch.
Who is the last speaker of the house that lost the primary?
Might make some history.
Would that eff em all up in DC or What?
There is no "essentially" about it. He has defrauded his voters and the American public who were defrauded by their own representatives when they supported the "package" for speaker.
