Theyre not buying it to go out and hunt deer. You dont need an AK-47 or an AR-15 to hunt deer. Theyre buying it do bad things and we need to recognize that and address it.
Democratic New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen said certain types of firearms like the AR-15 are the kind of guns that should be banned. She added that people trying to purchase the weapon which is popular among American gun owners are buying it do bad things.
Well, I think people need to have their voices heard, and what Ive heard from people in New Hampshire is they think theres reasonable legislation that we can pass including things like looking at the types of weapons that so easy for people to get, the New Hampshire Democrat said on Mitchell in the Morning on Monday.
The fact is, the AR-15, the gun that (Omar) Mateen used, thats a weapon of war; its advertised as being able do technologically advances in killing people that previous weapons have been unable to do and somebody who is buying that kind of a weapon isnt buying it for target shooting, she said. Theyre not buying it to go out and hunt deer. You dont need an AK-47 or an AR-15 to hunt deer. Theyre buying it to do bad things and we need to recognize that and address it.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation says there are anywhere between 5 million to 10 million AR-15 rifles in the United States, according to CNBC. The gun used in the Olrando shooting was not an AR-15, but a Sig Sauer MCX rifle, a similar appearing rifle.

5,000,000 to 10,000,000 AR-15s out there and less than a handful are being used in crimes. But somehow they are being used for “bad things.”
Trump was criticized for calling illegal Mexicans rapists. But this nonsensical statement impugning the millions of legal, law abiding CITIZENS that possess AR-15s by Sheehan will result in crickets of criticism from the usual DNC media suspects.
Is there anything stupider than a Democrat woman discussing fire arms? She is one of the few left in America who thinks Mateen used an AR-15 in the Orlando shootings.
We can’t all live in guarded, gated enclaves paid for by the taxes of the peasants who have to live in gang infested places, thanks to politicians such as you, Miz Shaheen. Protecting our families is a good thing, because the government is failing miserably at that duty.
It’s not about hunting deer. It’s about hunting agents of a government that turns tyrannical. You need modern weapons to be able to do that if it becomes necessary. And it is not a bad thing to own them with that (hopefully) remote possibility in mind. Who the hell ever said the 2nd Amendment was about hunting? Read the Constitution and the rest of the American state papers, you mindless political whore!
Dumb assed bltch. Over 300,000,000 guns in the U.S. now. If you aren’t dead yet, don’t worry about it.
I explained this on another social forum sight. There are magazine fed hunting rifles out there that are FAR more powerful than the AR-15. They are not categorized as "assualt" or "AK-47 type" or "Military Grade" weapons because of their stock, grip, sites and barrel dressing. But, most body armor won't stop a .308 or 30-06 round. They don't understand weapons.
Further, I explained that often times you can get a Chevy Camaro with different trim, engine and performance options. You can get a V-6 or the 700 hp V-8. Are they the same car? Should one be banned because 700 hp is NOT NEEDED because people can't "race" them? Why not?
True.
You dont need an AK-47 or an AR-15 to hunt deer.
True. It's more about stopping criminals and tyrants.
Theyre buying it do bad things
Liar.
and we need to recognize that and address it.
You need to STFU and quit lying about We, the People.
Mine is lying in it’s TSA approved 6 padlock case following a trip to the Yukon River this past month and it has not hurt one person! Can you believe it! It has not fired one shot! I am so relieved!
So, Miss Democrat Senator, there are between 5 and 10 million murderers in the US right now?
As far as I can tell, since murder rates are given as "per 100,000 and not in absolute numbers), you are more likely to die of influenza than of murder. There is a slight discrepancy between your numbers, Miss Senator, and the actual murder numbers.
The Second Amendment was not ratified so we were guaranteed the right to hunt.
People buy pressure cookers to do bad things, too.
It's a pretty big difference when you talk about the energy, range, penetration, etc. "Rifle" rounds are FAST bullets and therefore carry more energy than a typical handgun round. As far as close range, unarmored tissue lethality goes, I must agree with you. Accept in a crowd, the .308 will go through a couple more bodies than the .223 with less deflection or ballistic degradation. It's a heavier projectile with almost the same velocity. In this regard, the .308/30-06 round is more lethal. I doubt you would argue that there is negligible difference between the .223 and .50 because of speed. The degree of lethality with regards to caliber is actually scaleable.
Note: I didn't delve into the larger issue of the wound cavity size created by the higher energy in soft tissue. That should go without saying.
This is a clarion war being called by the Media Left, and Jeanne Shaheen, against the Second Amendment.
These people must be answered, in electronic media.
We can not keep blowing this major offensive off, but must be everywhere, as they are everywhere.
In Indiana, the minimum is .357 Magnum. But we are not allowed to hunt deer with "rifles" either. Shotgun, pistol rounds (now provided in long gun form) only. Of course crossbows and all bow are allowed as well.
Hey MF, a mom with at least one kid should have the same firepower as the scum coming at her and her child. NUFF SAID!
People voting for democrats are voting to do bad things to everyone.
I am not needy.
Trust me.
Are these people on the left really THAT stupid or are they just following party lines????
