Former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson inadvertently exposed who may be on Donald Trump's list of possible running mates during Sunday's interview with The Washington Post. But those same politicians identified deflected the matter since the story surfaced.
Following Carson's exit from the campaign in March, he endorsed Trump, quickly becoming a trusted advisor. His first big task was to lead the search for a vice presidential pick. By May 12, Carson's role on this V.P. Committee had ended, according to Carson's campaign manager Armstrong Williams, who told the Independent Journal that Carson did submit a list of potential nominees to Trump...

Silly rumors and gossip.
Hey welcome back. :D
Is Cruz going to be the GOP nominee like you promised?
Sarah Palin’s favorites: Donald Trump and Ted Cruz

I find this Carsom-Trump connection or association very weird. If anyone thinks that Ben Carson is somehow privy to this information... “naive” would be the word I would use. It’s not even imaginable. Arguably, he is revealing himself as not trustworthy if he is somehow letting this out and he’s not doing himself any favors. Trump....needs Ben Carson to release or hint at this information....? Really?
If he’d like to be Surgeon Gen’l, I would support that, I think he’d be great, I imagine (but have no way of knowing whether) Trump would nominate him.
If so, he should just shut up and disappear from the scene for a few months.
It will be Carson!
What makes you think Trump isn’t directing him?
I would not mind Carson.
Prefer Palin. Like Hunter. But Carson would work well imo.
The guy is a major neophyte politically.
This is all scab picking, so I’m gonna go elsewhere.
But you told us it would be Ted Cruz only about a month ago. What were your words, “you heard it here first”?
Its likely going to be a current or former governor. I doubt Carson has a clue.
I’d like to see Jim DeMint or Duncan D Hunter
I don’t see any kind of sympatico between Trump & Carson with the idea of Carson being a possible VP. None, zero. Of all the things Trump is, he is a very shrewd judge of character and talent and it’s just miles outside my imagination that Carson would be a desirable choice >>as VP<<. He knows nothing about Wash DC politics, he has no otherwise political experience other than generic management experience he might have gained working in hospital admin, he brings no constituency...so why Trump would pick him for that particular office makes no sense, to me. If he’s there to be a milquetoast opposite a brash Trump, Trump needs nobody to do that.
If I am wrong, then Carson is hinting at this stuff on Trumps’ direction as you suggest, but I really do not think that staging this kind of guessing game is a cred builder. If I am right, then he is blowing his credibility by releasing this info or showing himself to be vulnerable to being manipulated by Trump which is likewise a cred-eroding stance.
I think Carson is acting like a Trump groupie and he’s not doing that good a job of it. He’s enticed by this political stuff but is otherwise quite amateur at it. That’s my opinion.
I never hinted that Carson would be Trump’s running mate.
Every time I see and listen to Monica Crowley on TV i always think of what a good VP she would be!
Tell your handler that you can’t ruffle me.
psyop?
Just not sure what to make of Dr. Carson’s occasional pronouncements.
